Wild Crossover

In a small city somewhat out of the way, filled with people that mostly don't know anything about weird ceremonies, special powers, or really anything to do with magic, something crazy happened. A group of people, completely without intention, somehow summon people from a variety of different universes! These people are very surprised to discover they are the source of the summons.

It turns out that the reason they were summoned is that some enigmatic force wishes to cause Chaos. Therefore a number of the summoned people are evil, twisted, or otherwise simple pranksters. A separate enigmatic force decided to balance this out, in order to create Order, and brought about people who would put a stop to the chaos.

Welcome all! This role play will be a crossover where normal characters (They can be claimed or be OCs!) summon characters with all kinds of special powers (All of which must be claims). The reason behind it all is a mystery, so if that's what you want then good luck! On the other hand, you could always claim someone who is evil and cause a lot of mayhem... but if that happens, people who are good will surely show up to attempt to stop you.

Rules/Mechanics:

• Magisters: They are the ones doing the summoning. Or rather, the ones the summons are tied to. They can have some sort of abnormal special power, but nothing that's particularly useful in combat. Something like the ability to "draw the attention of crowds" or whatever is really really simple and will be allowed.

• Magisters: The world is a modern earth, so everyone that lives here will have to fit that setting. Characters don't have to all be from the same country, either, because I'm being intentionally vague. So a Japanese school student and an American construction worker can be in the same city in this case, and it just won't come up as an issue hopefully.

• Devoted: The ones summoned must always be claimed from a canon series! These characters are allowed to have whatever abilities within reason. I will be judging on a case by case basis as to whether someone will be considered overpowered for the RP. Some basic guidelines though, would be the most obvious: No powers able to blow away whole cities at once, no mechas/monsters/etc. big enough to crush an entire city, and no reality bending.

• Devoted: These people are not necessarily connected to one or the other alignment. After both Order and Chaos were added together, there are those summoned who are a bit of both. No matter what their purpose of being summoned is however, they will be interacting with the one who summoned them, and together will go forth to do what they want to do.

• Devoted: The magister and devoted are tied together. This means that if the Magister dies, the devoted will vanish. For this reason, even an evil devoted will never kill his own Magister unless he simply wishes to not exist in this world any more. All devoted are imparted a bit of knowledge about the world they've been summoned to so as to avoid culture shock, and are also given basic information such as the terminology "Magister" and "Devoted", and how their bond works.

• Magisters and Devoted: There's a limit of two people summoned by the same magister, not just one. This is because of the fact most people probably want to RP as Devoted rather than Magisters, and I don't really see any need to force everyone to make one of each. If we luck out and there's an equal number of Magisters and Devoted, then that'd be awesome, but I don't expect it to work out quite that easily. Hopefully people sign up as both!

• Now there are some series where someone with powers can co-exist with someone without powers. For the sake of this RP, if someone wants to RP a magister from the same verse as a Devoted that's already been claimed (Or vice-versa), here's the explanation of how that can work. Basically, the people of this world are from a different universe, but that means it's very possible they seem to be the exact same person. So the Devoted may recognize the Magister that summoned them, but the Magister will not recognize them.

Hopefully you all don't find this too complicated. When it comes right down to it, this is perfectly ordinary people summon people with extraordinary circumstances from other worlds.

Dante is a vigilante that takes on missions involving the supernatural mostly to fight against evil demons. This is all to find the demons that killed his mother and helped corrupt his brother into what he is today.

  • Captivation: Momo's ability, known as "Eye Attention", can draw peoples' attention, regardless of their preferences in tastes or interests.
• Backstory: A young girl who always lived in the shadow of her genius brother. It was because of this that she had always held a wish in her heart. A wish that people would pay attention to her sometimes. She would attain this wish one summer afternoon while she was swimming with her father. On this day she had drowned, thus entering the Heat Haze. It was in the Heat Haze that she gained one of Medusa's snakes that gave her the current eye power she posesses. This power is also the reason she is a famous pop idol, though no one actually knows about the power save for a few.

• Appearance: A perfectly ordinary witch.
• Series: Kirisame Marisa is a frequent liar and kleptomaniac. She'll steal anything that looks interesting or useful, provided it's not nailed down, and she'll even steal abilities from people she's met. She's also nearly always cheerful, always interested in a fight, friendly or otherwise, and an incredibly hard worker. To master the magic she has, she needed to train for a very long time. It's likely that most of her life was spent doing so. Marisa is also very proud of being the "Second best in Gensokyo" to Reimu, as well as being a good thief.
• Abilities/Weapons: Capable of flight and danmaku use, spellcards listed here. She's also a pretty fancy thief, and carries around what's known as the mini-hakkero or doing magic.

• Name: May Ryusei
• Age: 15
• Gender: Female
• Appearance: She always has the umbrella. It's like a security blanket to her.
• OC or series: OC
• Abilities: May is a Psychic Blank, someone who possesses an unusual brainwave pattern that makes them immune to mental interference such as telepathy, mind reading and mind control.
• Bio: May is really just your average teenager, if rather shy and retiring. Her life hasn't been all that eventful up until now, mostly just a quiet, everyday existence spent with her family and the few friends she actually has. The only really notable incident in her past was that one time when she was young she was caught in a storm and, after returning home soaked to the bone, became very sick and almost died. Ever since then, she has always carried an umbrella with her to make sure it never happens again.
• Misc.: She really does carry that umbrella about at all times for the above stated reasons. As for the goggles, uh... Those have no explanation. Maybe she just thinks they're cool?

• Abilities: She's a sharpshooter and accomplished bounty hunter, knowing a large number of tricks related to her trade. She comes armed with a Colt M1911 .45 pistol for combat.
• Bio: Nadie travels from place to place, catching various criminals alive for their bounties. She has a fiery personality, and can have a quick temper. She sometimes appears cheerful and optimistic, but is haunted from being the sole survivor of an attack in her hometown. She's currently on the lookout for a bounty on someone but can't seem to find them. If she wants, she can come off as ruthless to people if their first meeting is on the battlefield, allowing her to easily point her gun and say, "Got any last words, say 'em,".

• Appearance: "Erm, hey there! Ya said ya wanted some food, right?"

• Abilities: Jun has the ability to create strange white blobs that are highly nourishing when eaten, albeit a little bland. They can keep a person sustained food-wise for upwards to half a day. If the blobs are not eaten within twenty-four hours, it will decay and become inedible.
• Bio: Jun Erics was raised by a father who was a chef in a troubling time. His restaurant was going in the red and he was faced with either giving into the demands of a merger with another, more popular restaurant or declare bankruptcy. However, Jun's power to create food soon sparked into being and Jun offered to help make food with his father. Jun's father raised him in the art of cooking food with the promise that he'd bring a smile to the faces of people with grumbling stomachs. In the matter of a week, he single-handedly saved the restaurant and made it an overnight success. This was achieved by flavoring the bland food with several condiments and spices.

Oh, sorry Psyga if I wasn't clear enough. The Magisters are a new thing, it wouldn't be something passed down. This is something that hasn't happened before, as far as anyone knows, and only the Devoted were given any information about it (And they weren't given much).

The magic food creation thing is fine though.

• Appearance:
  • Gentaro: "I'm the guy who's going to make friends with everyone in this crossover!"◊
  • Fourze: "IT'S SPACE TIME!"◊
• Series: Kamen Rider Fourze
• Abilities/Weapons: Gentaro is equipped with the Fourze Driver, a belt-like device which allows him to transform into Kamen Rider Fourze. Fourze utilizes the forty Astroswitches*
  actually forty one, but Rocket Super-1 might not be used too much. We'll see.
  to activate different modular attachments to the limbs of the suit, giving Gentaro a wide range of power options (note: for various reasons he is unable to use #40, the Cosmic Switch*
  these reasons being that in-character, the Cosmic Switch works due to The Power of Friendship of the Kamen Rider club, and since he is seperated from them it will not work; out of character, it doesn't work because Cosmic States is too powerful to begin with
  ). Switches #30 and #31 take the form of the NS Magphone, which also works as a mobile phone. Each switch whose number is divisible by ten allows Fourze to transform into a different "State" (basically listed here; Rocket Drill and Fusion are not available and Cosmic is currently off limits as stated previously). Finally, as expected from a Kamen Rider, he has a motorcyle: the Machine Massigler, a rocket powered vehicle that can also be used by Gentaro when he is untransformed.
• Misc.: Despite the fact that he looks like a delinquent, Gentaro is actually very friendly and considers making new friends to be the most important thing in the world. In fact, his ultimate goal is to make friends with everyone he meets. Aside from this, he is generally overly enthusiastic and hotblooded about everything. He is earnest and thick-skinned, although not exactly all that perceptive and a little dense at times.

So I decided on a couple of villain Devoted characters that I'll be using, one of which will be a surprise, but one I'm posting right now! If anyone would like their Magister to be the one to summon Envy, please feel free to ask. I plan on him causing some mayhem to say the least, so be ready for that much. He's going to act exactly how he does in the show.

• Gender: None(?) (I refer to him as male, but as a shapeshifter non-human he doesn't exactly have a gender)
• Appearance: His usual appearance, though even this can vary.◊
• Series: Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood
• Abilities/Weapons: He has the distinct ability to shapeshift into any existing person, or any original person he comes up with. His 'true' form is actually quite tremendous, and due to this he has a good amount of strength and weight to him, making him hard to push around. He also has the body of a homunculus, which gives him incredible amounts of natural healing. If his body is harmed in any way, he very quickly can regenerate it. There's a limited number of ways to permanently destroy the body, though tiring him out or restraining him is always an option as well.

Alright so do people think this is enough for now? We can assign two devoted to each Magister and technically start right now. I would have much prefered more characters, but since the numbers match up it's probably ok.

I might go ahead and apply another Magister regardless though, just want to see people's opinions. :3

Yeah, I think that's pretty good, though let's see what the others say.

Especially since I kinda derped on the fact that if a Magister's made, it just means that one of the devotees will go to them.

Abilities: The ability to psychically detect metal

Bio: Though he was originally living an ordinary child's life, once Akihiro's talent for detecting metals sparked into being and his parents recognized it, they became determined to exploit it. So, they started taking him on tours and showing off his ability with cheap parlor tricks like counting the amount of change in someone's pockets or having people hide small metal items all around an area for him to find. While part of Aki liked the shows and getting a chance to perform for a crowd, the stresses of his new lifestyle started to burn him out, leaving him wondering if there's anything really meaningful he can do with his life.

• Misc.: Bringing in an Umineko character without intention of turning the RP super dark? Hopefully I'm not committing a crime here.

Edit2: Hey Psyga! I just realized, your Magister would make a great pair with Sanji, what do you think? He prides himself on his cooking, to a massive extent, so his reaction to someone who can just magically create food would be really fun I think.

  • Indomitable Resolve - Shuji's will to never give in is unusually strong, even when the situation is completely and utterly hopeless. It can even extend to forcing herself to remain conscious or active in the most extreme scenarios, but this is rather pointless.
• Misc.: A cheerful girl that loves challenge, and may not seem all that bright. She is also painfully shy around those she really likes, though. She's a little odd like that.
