listen to me, but truly, what made this place what it was, but the pawns and players sent in? as long as you and i have that fighting spirit, whatever comes next will be as this was.

erin walks over to a nearby store. It's a jewelrey shop. Opening the door, she enters, reappearing a few minutes later with a simple necklace

keep in mind, even though fate has decreed this place die, not all must be lost, do you not agree?

i suppose. i personally chose this as it will stay around a while longer than something like that, i would think.

As the two talk, a robed being exits out of a runic portal. He does not try to draw attention to himself, merely visiting the Arena one last time."Funny, thought I hated this place. Where I fought monsters and machines. Where I felt things scar my body and mind. Yet...I cant help but feel sad for it. It changed so much, only..." The being wipes growing tears on the sleeve of his robe. "...only to die, slowly, painfully."

may we meet again soon, on a glorious field of battle! bodies may die and souls may fade, but the spirit shall live on! best of luck to you, out there.

Same to you, erin. -climbs into the helicopter- Stay alive until we get to the next one, okay? I mean it.

-the chopper takes off and disappears into the night sky-

She watches the helicopter take off into the night sky, but comments:

are you going to keep to yourself or actually come out and be social?

FM lets out a sad breath of air. "Still, despite everything bad you did to me... I still met people I can call friends. People who didn't judge me for my powers. People who fought to help me in my darkest hours. So...thank you, Arena. I hope you rest peacefully when the time finally comes." With that, FM turns towards erin and speaks. "Hey, this place was good while it lasted, right?"

truly, it was. you could say it helped me as well.

"Heck, what happened here...made me like this." A white surge of magic echoes out from FM. Bringing with it a peaceful, calm feeling. "I'll miss it. Really will." He sniffles, wiping his tears again.

"You're telling me?"

In a flash of blue light, an oval "ornament" of the same shade appears, held in the hand of a blue-haired girl, who is for once sombre-looking. The "ornament" quickly disappears, leaving a ring on her finger.

erin remains silent. She'd rather not spoil the stranger's mood. She looks up to the starry sky, attaching the necklace and folding it under her shirt.

FM turns his gaze towards Isaki and gives her a friendly wave. "So, here to pay respects as well Isaki?" He then turns to erin again and notices the necklace. "...Huh, is that a memento? I think I should grab something myself."

erin laughs. it isn't pleasant

pardon me, it is a habit. coming here to wax poetic as well? for once, it seems to fit not to fight.

indeed, it is. i sense that many a hand clamors for this place, but i want to remember it as it is now.

"Yeah... funny how you don't realize how many chances you've missed 'til there aren't any more, right? I always thought this place would go on forever..."

"Afraid I'm not too good at that kinda thing, but I figured I'd show up for the big finale... or whatever was left of it by the time our dimensions synchronized enough to make the hop across... was kinda hoping for a big blast-fest to end it, but I guess there's not many people like me, right?"

FM decides to enter a nearby donut shop for some reason. Easily knocking the door in with a minor burst of power. He then grabs several boxes of donuts, of all kinds. These he carries by having his magic lift them into the air and hover around him. "Hope these are as good as I remember..."

do you ever feel the tides of greater things? gods fight for this place. already new crossroads are being constructed from the very fabric of this reality. even if this place, this iteration, ceases, there will always be willing warriors and fighting hearts ready to pick up arms in glorious battle.

"Uh, guess I'd better ask my oth- Isana about that, mechanics and physics were never my strong suit, including dimensional ones... But if there's gonna be a new place to have a blast, of any kind, someone better pencil me in!"
