What about the scene from Kingdom Hearts II, when Sora reassures Winnie the Pooh that he'll always be in his heart, shortly before he leaves that world for the final time (for now)? That's a very Heartwarming scene; of course, I also support the Terminator scene.

The image really shows a related trope, Riding into the Sunset, and doesn't illustrate any trope elements beyond the mere act of "going" - e.g., the idea that the character only "has to leave for no other reason than "he must"." (A notion that seems to be partly contradicted by the preceding paragraph - the trope may have problems beyond just the image.)
