In my case, it's more that I had thought up my idea for my chapter early on when the Cheerilee Round Robin first started, along with some possible back-up plans in case the same parent(s) and/or foal were in the chapter right before mine.

I did something similar with my chapter in the Tealove story, where I had the idea of someone wanting to change Tealove's eye color before I began my chapter, and thus found a way to work that into the story (and I turned Baron Zeppeli evil in the process).

(For those who don't know, I currently work part-time as a math tutor.)

So, yesterday my supervisor interrupted a lesson I was doing in order to explain something to the student. Unfortunately, that something was "why you can't divide by zero", and his explanation was "because dividing by zero gives you a really, really big number". And he tried to prove it by going "See? If you divide this by a number, you get something, but if you divide by a smaller number you get something larger. Therefore, dividing by zero ought to give you infinity."

I wanted so much to interrupt him and tell him that no, he's completely off and is putting wrong ideas in the student's head, but I learned long ago that my supervisor talks like a freight train. By which I mean, he's impossible to interrupt because whenever you try he'll just bowl right over you and continue what he was saying. It took fifteen minutes for him to finish and leave so that I could get back to the topic I was actually teaching, which was how to draw a straight line.

Yes, but I mean on a graph, with an equation. Still, it's not exactly rocket science, and the whole "dividing by zero" segway was only barely related in the first place.

@Librarian i've heard of that tumblr. for those not in the know, it posts a single page, panel, line, or screenshot from the Jojo manga or anime by itself, devoid of context. it's a great way to show just how honking crazy this series gets.
