How about an image of one of Super Buu's several tantrums? He definitely looks like a villain and few other characters in fiction have so many moments that effectively illustrate what happens when evil is consumed by rage.

^^While that distinction is important for other troping purposes, I don't think that the expectations are different.
Also, Azula looks a bit attacking to me, which would lower the spoiler potential even more - although it could reduce the suitability of the pic as well.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanShe's throwing a brush at a servant. She can shoot fire from her hands. It's part of the reason it's so breakdown-y.
That's not really this trope. It's about a calm villain having a breakdown when things go wrong, but an unstable one throwing a tantrum wouldn't count.

Hop on over to this page and add them.If memory serves me well, Super Buu became very calm and composed following his absorption of Piccolo. Consequently, unlike his previous form, his moments of rage only arose when his plans failed or if he faced an opponent whom he could not defeat.
Alternatively, you could show before/after images of Vegeta (when he first visited Earth) or Frieza. Unlike their mooks, both villains maintained unwavering composure until their plans were foiled or if all their efforts came to naught against a stronger adversary.
DBZ has many flaws but depicting villains enraged by failure has never been one of them.

I think Azula can fit on the VillainousBreakdown.Western Animation subpage. It's a bit of a spoiler, but if you're on a subpage, you're in the examples anyway, so I think it's acceptable there. Less so on the main page.
I still think the current should be pulled, replacement existing or not.
Check out my fanfiction!Just go with the one on the film page.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult.Eddie wants subpages to have the pics for tropes that have them.
I much preferred the comparison of Cultured Clean Ratigan versus Deranaged Mad Ratigan. What was the reason that it was pulled?
It's on VillainousBreakdown.Film. It could use some brightness and contrast improvement, though.

Image Source. Please update whenever an image is changed.Clock is set.
...glitch?
Seems to me.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanAlright, the clock's up. Since we've spent the whole thread discussing a new image, I think it's safe to pull the old pic...and it really sucks anyway. It's gone and the page is tagged; locking up.
Losing a fight and losing her poise are two different things. This is a girl who was knocked off a blimp and saved herself using her hairpin and still looked in control of the situation. Seeing her looking disheveled and crazy is pretty shocking for most viewers.
