IMHO, I really like this Gen. more than the original(But everything in the franchise is SHITLOADS times better than that god awful movie.) because the digis seem to have their own agendas and personalities rather than "Let's be friends and save the world." Plus the cast of kids isn't as big as a school's field trip class. Instead, it's downsized to focus more on Mikey and Shoutmon's relationship rather than others' "Destinies". Plus, the Digis can easily fend for themselves in most cases instead of having a kid babysit them.

What I love about this season is the fact these kids aren't fragile and weak. They can kick ass too without they Digimon as you can see that Sword skills Jeremy and Mickey self defense.

@Customer Mikey is not too much like Tai. T He main thing that sets them apart is that Mikey is very very talented at most things he does and an excellent strategist.

While Tai is too much like Ash. New episode aired. I really lol'd when they kept the shrimp toast line instead of doing what they would do on Pokemon and call a rice ball a damn doughnut.
Well if only these silly Japanese cartoons would involve more actual donuts, they wouldn't have to do that!

I hate how Nickelodeon just kicked this show to their smaller channel Nicktoons, which sucks because I don't have that channel.
Do you get The CW? Cuz its going to air there in 2014.

Should have seen that coming.
But yea, They simply didn't know how to handle the show on their channel due to the time slot it was placed in. Yet again, that's no excuse to move it, either! It was Nick's chance to compete with CN and it's partnership with Pokemon series, and they BLOW IT SKY HIGH! I really think Nick should at least cancel another show to make room for D:F. Or make time! Mabey make it a companion piece with Korra?

Ok, so today's episode finished up that island zone battle. The only problem I see in the series is that, like Dragon Ball Z, battles last for a FUCKIN' LONG TIME!!! And finaly, X4 has been reached. But today's Data file on Cutemon made it less definite if she has any true powers at all even if it's a fairy type. Also, i'm more confused after the Data file on what gender he/she is suppose to represent. Probably Female, since no futa in Mon shows.
Cutemon's a boy. This will be made quite apparent later on.

New episode aired, and I just can't help but be pissed whenever Durulamon is on screen. It's like watching Knuckles, but with even less of a sympathetic heart for anything other than people and digis threatened by the army. It's such a douchbag additude.

To answer you question King Kix no, she isn't. She has her own reasons. Nene's is more like Mysterious Watcher and a Mysterious Backer as you can see from her explaniation of what is a code crown to Mickey. You just have to wait and see for yourself what's her motivation although that Spoiler Opening is kinda ruinning the suprise and anticipations we can hope for the future.
So far I like the dub version. Its funny and chessy just like the old Digimon was. I hope they will keep most of the original material and will not cut it~
