The only reason I want to do a Dark Heresy/Black Crusade RP instead of this one is because of the variety.

Let's see...Dark Heresy is about imperial acolytes, and Black Crusade is about heretic scum. Perhaps instead of just being Death Watch it could include guardsmen and such, like assassins and techpriests?

The Death Watch has Scouts? I thought they were all full-fledged Battle Brothers?

Also, you can't change a thread name yourself; you need a mod to do that.

According to Do W 2 they do, since that's what Cyrus was doing before he returned to the Ravens. It makes sense, since they'd want the greatest variety of skills.

There are a few chapters, most notably non-codex compliant, that use fully fledged battle brothers as scouts. Also, usually the sergeants of scout squads for codex compliant chapters are battle brothers that want to teach, or older scouts that want to pass on knowledge.

So far, I am enjoying this RP. I am a 40K newbie, but I do like the Imperial Guard and have a PDF copy of Only War.

So, how long do you think a lowly Imperial Guard grunt will last on this team?

Depends if we go onto a space hulk first, or go planet side to counter an Ork Waaaugh!, either way, she could last a while, but the cannon fodder she got sent with ain't getting through the first skirmish.
