(Third time that's been posted)
The $1.2 million stretch goal has been reached, meaning we now have Mighty Numbers 7 and 8 to fight as well as the other bosses!

I think the outcome of this is that people will spend so much money funding it that they won't have any left to buy it.
The Protomen enhanced my life.Uh. Dude?
Donating that much gets you a copy of the game.
My name has nothing to do with Psychonauts.Multiple copies, even. I may be mistaken, but I think you get three copies (one digital, two physical) for a $250 pledge. I know you get the two physical copies. I don't know if you retain the digital one.
EDIT: The handy flow chart says you retain the digital copy. So yes, you can get up to three copies. One digital. Two physical.

Three copies for $250 is more than what many AAA publishers charge for their titles even considering the physical copy. They'll need some really good extras or feelies, or emphasize that the pledge option is for hardcore support of the game rather than an unmissable deal.
There's more to the $250 than just the three versions of the game. It's all on the right column of the site. Apparently $10,000 nets a dinner with Keiji. I'm not sure how to feel about that.
If I did donate that much to have dinner with him, I would thank him for Getting Asuras Wrath off the ground.
Watch SymphogearYou get a ton of stuff for the $250 end of things.
Let's see.
Backer forum access, name in backer credits, participation in backer events (voting on character designs and stuff), a digital copy, digital manual, digital guide, physical game box (with your choice of eastern or western design), physical manual (with your choice of eastern or western design), exclusive character costume (gold), a t-shirt (eastern or western design), an exclusive in-game transformation, beta access, a plushie of one of the enemies, the other t-shirt, the other physical game box, the other manual, a poster with all of the bosses and a signed hardcover manual.
Not to mention the satisfaction of backing a project you believe in.
If you believe in it.

The "dinner with Inafune" doesn't cover the cost of traveling to Japan though, so it's kind of a rip-off in that sense. Although I suppose if you have $10,000 lying around to throw at this maybe you don't care.

I'd much rather the $9999 prize, as it nets you a 3D printed model of one of the Numbers.
Someone laid down the cash for that already.
As of this post, 21,328 people have contributed well over $1,230,000. They're almost to the halfway mark of the ultimate goal.

That one is really not worth it. Maybe if it included a few other of the "limited" tiers or at least had decent lodging included, but it's definitely not as good as the $9,999 tier.
God damn I love this theme! I never thought any of the main Mega Man games had memorable themes but this one is really fantastic.
One of the instruments in this remix is either the armpit or farting.
Not bad but I prefer the modern version.
I'd rather think I should prefer to hear Hertzdevil's take on Mighty 9's theme.
The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls!so all that hate being leveled at Capcom right now?

Comcept really thinks you need to stop.
One of the things we’re most proud of is the overwhelmingly positive vibe we all share in this mission. There are no losers in our success here, and no bad guys to rail against. We all know that none of the amazing stories and fond memories you've all been sharing would've ever been possible without the games that came before us, the developers who created them, and the companies who promoted and sold and spread them throughout the world. Yes, we are aiming to revive and reinvent this genre, but we do so with the deepest humility and all due respect to those who came before us, or in many cases worked alongside us — our ex-coworkers and ex-employers, for example; whatever success we achieve here is ultimately a validation of their efforts. So we salute them — as we do all of you — Beck-style, with two fingers! (`_´)ゞ
My name has nothing to do with Psychonauts.I'm more inclined to believe that's mostly PR talk for "Please don't get Capcom mad, they'll sue us."
I know this may sound hypocritical to me, but I don't think we should be that cynical.
This is the right thing to do. They don't want this. If people are really sincere about respecting Inafune's wishes, they should follow their lead and stop.
My name has nothing to do with Psychonauts.I doubt Capcom is going to do anything to provoke the fans. They seem to be the very passionate and emotional type.
Keiji and friends just probably got word from their old buddies in Capcom that they're been receiving too many death threats, FUCK YO Us and raspberries.
Did that emoticon just do a hadouken?
Signatures are for lamers.A bunch of Protomen fans want them to do the soundtrack for the game, or a rock opera.
The Protomen also sent the developers a swag package. ^^
The Protomen enhanced my life.
Gee. after 2-3 days after hearing about this project, it's already becoming an internet phenomenon IMO. Why doesn't anyone here just get to the studio already, help out, and make the waiting period go by faster?!
