Oooh no! A moderator is doing her job as a moderator. How terrible. If having paid money for something gave you rights as to how a forum should be run, then nothing at Something Awful would ever get done.
Of course, let's not pretend that any forum actions she took is the reason why she was controversial, that's her being heavily scrutinized to justify preexisting hatred. Take Sarkeesian's sins for example, an example I've often heard bandied about is stealing artwork even though the accidental theft had been worked out between both parties long ago and they were cool now. It wasn't about looking into things, it was about finding reasons to prove you were right. Ultimately the reason she got her hatedom is
This. Which is super sad that the most basic non-offensive feminism 101 stuff managed to drive so many people into a frothing rage.

Honestly, by this point, I feel like that unless the game gets huge critical acclaim with Megaman fans praising is as well (What happened to Pillars of Eternity) I'll become indifferent to any further delay or the launch itself.
I've always been indifferent to an actual release of a game, other than it being the culmination of various efforts.
You can't tell much at that point, except maybe hype if there's hype.
Gotta wait at least a few months for the dust to settle, to see what the fan consensus opinion on the game is.
Welp, nothing to do but just wait. I got annoyed by the delay but its better to release a fixed game than a buggy game. Who want to play a 'bugged to the point where its unplayable' kind of game?
Anyway, I "fixed" the recently released transparent art of Ray◊, but sorry for the blurriness around. Not used this yet.
Man, if they ever do that TV show, they should really redo it and get Andrew Dickman as head character designer because darn it, I want to see this in motion◊.
(And yeah, the scaling between the characters may be off, but I don't really care. My point is, this guy knows his character drawing stuff and the fact that no one's hiring him to do stuff like this officially annoys me.)

There's a different guy who also did a fananimation of Beck running through a roadway. Found it.
Isn't Andrew that guy who did some storyboard art for a number of TV shows? His name is familiar...

Yeah, I've already seen that one. That was something a fan did?
As for Andrew, yeah, he's done stuff. But the one thing that sticks out the most for me is his pilot, "Ivan the Unbearable". He made it for Nickelodeon's Random! Cartoons and I seriously want it turned into a full-fledged show on something, anything. Maybe even Netflix.
That looks better than some of the pilots for Adult Swim shows I have seen. :P

Mileena MadnessRight? I'm pretty sure I haven't seen other animated pilots as often as "Ivan the Unbearable".
I found it weird that Target is the only one that has yet to change the shipping date on it. It's still on September 15...
Well, Target's website isn't the best-curated. It doesn't surprise me simply because I generally expect them to be a bit slow about updating in general.
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster.I don't know about the coding it takes to make a online mode but how would it take half a year to fix them?
I don't know what bugs their site might have, but correcting the release date on a video game (on a page that's otherwise working) is probably low on their "fixes" list. If their team is particularly small, it's probably just being overlooked as they handle higher priority issues.
I'm not saying it's a good or sensible way to run a company's website. I'm just saying there's a logical reason behind it.
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster.Inafune announced at PAX: MN 9 trial demo is coming on September 15 to backers. Demo is four stages long (opening stage plus Mighty No.s) and is different from the last demo that was put down.
He also announced that the public gets the demo soon.
Backers also gets a free copy of Mighty Gunvolt for PC.

Demo on 3DS or PC?
PC Steam.
They even explained why they have to delay it only for the online mode bugs here on the "And maybe released the multiplayer aspect at a later date?" column.

You wouldn't believe how much I love free stuff.
What about those of us who want a DRM-free copy of the game rather than a Steam copy? How will we get our Mighty Gunvolt?
So I guess those of us that don't like playing games on the computer are just shit out of luck then?
Seems that way!
anyway it's kind of sad how things have turned out. granted i guess it's not wise to call things out too early since the game's not out yet, but compared to all the happiness and optimism everyone had when this was first announced, inafune and this game have kind of fallen from grace even before the game came out.
i don't think i'll be giving him any more money from now on.
