Agreed, nowhere near enough difference between those two.
It occurs to me that the original image could work, provided we get a clean version of the bottom part and pair it with a pic of unmasked Rorschach from the comic, maybe the scene where he's freaking out about being unmasked when the police capture him.
Y'mean the "GIVE ME BACK MY FAAAAAAAAAAAACE!" scene?
Funnily enough, I can find screencaps of the film version of that scene, but not a comic scan.
