I assume the anime will take out the action to focus on what everyone wants: incest and naked little girls.
…It sounds worse than I imagined.
Or maybe it will focus on the action, which would probably be better. Though maybe not if I read the comments on the latest chaps.

Flippé de participer à ce grand souper, je veux juste m'occuper de taper mon propre tempo. If anyone here posts to 4-chan, not that I'm advising doing that in the first place, but if you're already there, can you please tell the annoying idiotic stalker who always assumes every criticism to UQ Holder comes from me I can't post at that board because my whole country is banned on it?
Because seriously, at this point it's just creepy and frustrating.
Don't lie NDC, everyone knows that you are the only person on the planet who's criticizes UQ Holder. Whenever it seems like someone else doesn't like it, that's just you hijacking their account.
Does that mean you are me as well, or I am you, instead?
I'm not sure anymore. I'm going through identity crisis here.
@NDC - Holy shit, that's...I must confess, it's almost amusing.

Maybe by some holy miracle, the animators are convinced to finally make an anime adaption of Negima, but it's just called UQ Holder.
A boy can dream can't he?

UQ's new volume cover was posted. I actually think it'd be great if Eva wasn't fucking naked.
Eva is pretty much a glorified object (whether as punching bag, cardboard leader figure who actually doesn't lead a shit, token romantic prize or fanservice tool) by this point...
Oh come on, sometimes she annoyingly withholds information and obstructs people all of her own accord.
The section for Characters/Kuroumaru Tokisaka needs a massive rewrite; as of ch.101 "he" has started to become a biological girl.
Didn't they go back to being genderless right afterwards?
Flippé de participer à ce grand souper, je veux juste m'occuper de taper mon propre tempo.I thought he was starting to think like a girl, but hadn't started physically changing yet other than putting a disguise on?
Anyway, I feel Kuromaru has gotten too little focus lately as to make full good guesses on his current state.
The impression I got was that Kuromaru fears that he might be beginning to transition to a girl, but wasn't sure since no major changes had taken effect.
I'm pretty sure he's still gender-neutral, while leaning towards being male. For some reason his hair goes blonde/white when he becomes female, so if he was transitioning, I think we'd have something more to go on. As of right now, I still think he identifies as a male, so that's what we're going with until otherwise stated.
Its still a crying shame he's either irrelevant or only exists to espouse his feelings on Touta, because his character would otherwise be a fascinating subject to work with if taken semi-seriously and not be rendered down to a Setsuna 2.0.

I seriously thought he was better a character than Setsuna at first, but then he became Touta's accessory even worse than Setsuna became Konoka's.
Setsuna at least had her friendship to Asuna and her enmity with Tsukuyomi to define her beyond Konoka. Kuromaru has no real meaningful friendships or rivals, he's fully defined by Touta. There was a brief start of a sort of important relationship with Kirie, but it's impossible to focus on it since the haremettes keep on getting in each other's way worse than in Negima despite there being less of them.
Kuro, Santa, and the first five seconds of Karin were the only characters in this thing I can say I actually kinda liked, at least in theory. Everyone else was either...kinda boring, or completely insufferable (I.E. Kirie).
...Actually, I remember thinking Afro and...uh, the one guy in a wheelchair were actually pretty cool, because they were humans kind of contributing to the setting, but Akamatsu clearly forgot they ever even existed after that god awful Dana stint.
ANB has had several spoiler pages for hours. Surprisingly, 4chan doesn't seem to have any threads for it yet, and I've gone through the archive.
It's all... rather terrible so far, except for Jinbei's cameo. Remember that awful bit with Yue and Paio in Negima's penultimate chapter? Well, this reminds me of that.
- Raises eyebrow in curiosity
- Check spoiler images.
- Slams head against wall several times
WHY?!!!

Well, that wasn't what I was expecting. Yikes, that's way above and beyond almost anything uncomfortable Negima has done, and that's a pretty high bar to reach. Still not as bad as Ayaka's grandaughter actually pissing herself, but that's not even a small comfort.

So pendulum swings out of "hardcore gory action!" territory and into "hilarious harem hijinks!" territory. I can't exactly call that an improvement. Seems Akamatsu is getting desperate because this... fanservice is rather iffy, even by his standards.
It's amazing that this manga finds ways to get worse.
"But don't give up hope. Everyone is cured sooner or later. In the end we shall shoot you." - O'Brien, 1984Looks like I was right to refuse to read it... from what I hear, UQ Holder is nothing but garbage.
Although I don't read the monthly chapters, I'd call what I read less "garbage" and more "a succession of potentially cool ideas and characters methodically ruined".

Perhaps they have no idea about the 80-years later setting and think the new characters are from the class across campus.
Thing to remember: Ken Akamatsu's anime adaptations are always worse than his original manga.
Worse than his manga. This is going to be worse than UQ Holder already is.
Can you hear the screams on the ice-cold wind? Can you see the color leech out of the world?
The UQ Holder anime is what creates the Lifemaker, and she creates the Negima universe to be in a world without the UQ Holder anime.
