I have both of them (I got the second one free during the App Store anniversary a few weeks ago).
It's been a while since I've played the first one though, but I have beaten the God King once (parry breaks are awesome)! And in under 20 bloodlines, too!
Anyways, I assume the second one has more depth?
🏳️⚧️she/her | Vio Rhyse AlberiaYeah, more ways to go, more of a plot, and it does actually have an ending, though I haven't gotten past the section where you have to kill four different bosses due to the fact that two of said bosses are Abominations and I don't have weapons powerful enough to damage them quickly.
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.I remember setting up a thread here and no one posted in...
Yeah, 2nd has way more depth, though you should read the novella, or some part of the 2nd game won't make any sense...
Shame Dungeons is cancelled though...

Give me cute or give me...something?I wonder what the third game'll be like.
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.Oh, that might be because you misspelled "Infinity" in the title. It's pretty hard to find a thread if the title is misspelled.
Oh, Equestria, we stand on guard for thee!Oh, and I told the mods about the thread you had opened about this game way back when, and they have nuked it, on the ground that it's a duplicate thread. Well, I guess one of them had to go.
Oh, yeah, and about the Gem Forge...I found out that there's another catch to the thing. One way to complete the forging of a gem combination is to let at least half an hour of real time pass by. Sounds great, right? Well, it would be, except you have to be connected to the Internet for this method to work. Since I'm playing the game in areas with no Wi-Fi at all, that method is basically useless for me. Some days, it's like you can't win. <Face Palm>
Still, the recipes I have been able to find on the Gem Forge are interesting to say the least:
- Light Defense Gem = Fire Defense Gem + Ice Defense Gem + Water Defense Gem. Those three gems have to go in that order for it to work.
- Dark Defense Gem = Shock Defense Gem + Poison Defense Gem + Wind Defense Gem. Those three gems have to go in that order for it to work.
- Rare Defense Gem = Light Defense Gem + Dark Defense Gem + any Bonus Gem. Those three gems have to go in that order, and the Light and Dark Defense Gems have to be forged for it to work. Apparently, if you want to complete the forging of this gem as soon as possible, you should get the cheapest Hexagon/Bonus Gem you can find.
- Rare XP Gem = Three Rare Defense Gems forged together.
- Rare Fire Attack Gem = Three +400 Fire Attack Gems forged together.
- Rare Ice Attack Gem = Three +400 Ice Attack Gems forged together.
- Rare Water Attack Gem = Three +400 Water Attack Gems forged together.
- Rare Spectrum Gem = Rare Fire Attack Gem + Rare Ice Attack Gem + Rare Water Attack Gem. Those three gems have to go in that order.
- Rare Shock Attack Gem = Three +400 Shock Attack Gems forged together.
- Rare Poison Attack Gem = Three +400 Poison Attack Gems forged together.
- Rare Wind Attack Gem = Three +400 Wind Attack Gems forged together.
- Rare Darkfire Gem = Rare Shock Attack Gem + Rare Poison Attack Gem + Rare Wind Attack Gem. Those three gems have to go in that order.
- Parry All Attacks Gem: One way to use Rare Gem Wheels. Another way is to combine Red Dual Gem (On Parry get XP), Yellow Dual Gem (On Stab get Gold), and Whitish Dual Gem (On Magic Titan Break +1) together in that order. Another way is to combine +110 On magic get shield Gem, +400 Light Attack gem, and +104 On magic get shield Gem in that order. Finally, you could try combining three Rare Dual XP Gems to get it. This gem is pretty hard to get.

Oh, Equestria, we stand on guard for thee!I love my Rare Defense/Rainbow Defense...one of the main thing that make 2 handed weapon work well so I don't need to change shield around frequently...

Give me cute or give me...something?Well, any gem that lets you be protected from those nasty side-effects of elemental attacks is guaranteed to give you an edge!
Do you consider Siris The Woobie? I do. Let's see, first he manages to succeed where everyone has failed and topple the mighty God King as well as take the great Infinity Blade itself. He honestly believed he had done a good thing and would be praised for his actions. Instead, he got shunned by everyone, because they knew the Deathless would come looking for him. It seems the only friend he has in the entire world is Isa, a woman who is very mysterious (by extension, untrustworthy) and is revealed to know much more than she's telling. He fails for one trap, gets the Infinity Blade taken away by the resurrected God King, and would have been killed off for good right then and there if Isa hadn't shot him right between the eyes with an arrow, which only killed him temporarily. It turns out that Siris and all the descendants in the first game are one and the same. That's right, he got killed off by the God King who knows how many times. Siris also realizes that he himself is a Deathless. Nevertheless, he resolves to do the right thing and free humanity from the Deathless. He works as hard as he can, and has to die and be reborn at least four times to free the Worker of Secrets, in the hopes that he can get help in stopping the Deathless. Siris also finds out that he is actually Ausar, a Complete Monster that everyone hated and also wiped out his own memory for an unknown reason. What little Siris does find out about his old life leaves him greatly shamed. Apparently, Ausar and the Worker were old friends. At the urging of the Worker, Siris fights Radriar the God King and defeats him for the second time. He brings Radriar in alive so that he can take the Worker's place in his prison and set the Worker free. Siris discovers too late that the Worker is a lying Bastard In Sheep's Clothing. The Worker takes the Infinity Blade for himself and apparently intends to conquer the world with it, which won't be too difficult considering that Siris killed off many potential rivals for him. He leaves Siris and Radriar to rot in his former cell, and claims that it's only fair, because Ausar was the one who imprisoned him there in the first place. Poor Siris can alone say My God What Have I Done and a Big No.
Okay, I realize that was a long paragraph, but all things considered, poor Siris qualifies. Maybe he was a villain at one time, but he now seems to be a Classical Anti-Hero who is trying to do the right thing and it keeps blowing up in his face in the most spectacular ways possible. Fortunately, it looks like Isa just might give him a helping hand.
Oh, Equestria, we stand on guard for thee!^ Well if you don't have elemental defense gem you can't actually block elemental attack...and you can't dodge with 2 hand weapon...whoops. I remember being damn confused why I can't block until I know that..
On Siris, yep. It's a big mystery why Ausar wipe his memory out though...doesn't make sense...
Give me cute or give me...something?I'm guessing it's a chance to atone for his past.
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.Then why is his emerging personality still be such an asshole?
Give me cute or give me...something?Seems that Ausar was a Defector from Decadence and was as bad as or even worse than the other Deathless before coming to his senses. Perhaps his first go at the God-King and even his imprisoning of the Worker was a bald faced power grab that went wrong - or at least the Worker seems to think so. In any case, Siris is definitely a Woobie.

Another detail that is pretty odd is that supposedly Ausar and the Worker of Secrets are old friends. Although, considering that Siris has a lot of holes in his memory and the Worker is a Bastard In Sheep's Clothing and a Consummate Liar, I'm not even sure if they were friends to begin with. I mean, Ausar is supposedly a Complete Monster (which I can't really say for sure because that hasn't actually been shown). Why would anyone want to be friends with a CM? There's just a lot of questions in the air.
Maybe Infinity Blade Dungeons, being a prequel, would have shed more light on the matter if it hadn't been cancelled. Or maybe not.
On the plus side, Infinity Blade III is already in development. Maybe the game will let us play as Isa. That woman has loads of questions marks surrounding her.
Oh, Equestria, we stand on guard for thee!
Has anyone here played Infinity Blade? I have had the pleasure of playing the second game, and it is more addictive than I can put to you in words!
On one hand, the game seems simple enough to play. On the other hand, the game seems to be incredibly hard to play. That may sound like a contradiction, but it isn't. Here's why:
This series has sucked me in. How about you?
