Well since weapons(particularity oversized swords) and equipment are fairly important bits of Final Fantasy yeah adding a weapon/equipment slot in the character sheet would be a good idea.
Meeting in an airship port sounds good.

I'm also in favor of adding a weapons/equipment slot to the character sheet. In additon to the point mentioned before (their overall importance), it also helps keep people honest.

Once again I'd like to remind everybody that I want you to list your character's Equipment before starting the game. Sorry for not having considered that earlier. I need at least your weapon (this can be anything from any game, or even something made up by you, but you must describe it in that case.) And yes, you can list "His/her hands" if that's what the character uses (especially for a Monk.)

Just like to ask, whats the kinda airship are we on? Basically a boat with the propellors on it? Or the more plane metal type ones? And also, how many enemies are their? And am i allowed command of a few soldiers since im meant to be a captain? They wont do much assistance wise but dialogue and so on.

The ship is the Alexis II from Final Fantasy: The Crystal Chronicles [1]. I think it's an hybrid of both types of ships, it has an open deck where the fight is taking place. There's about a dozen enemies, the number is adjustable as seems dramatically appropriate, I just want everyone to get a chance to fight. And sure, you can use subordinates as long as they don't hog all the action.

Yes, but remember that, this being Fantasy, the Bad Guys will lose in the end, unless you switch sides before that.
