Kinda like Mojo Jojo, except his plans(based of The Powerpuff Girls Movie)actually could be quite devistating.
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justice"OOOOOOH I HATE YOU I HATE YOU I HATE YOU!!!!!"
For me, it was the eyes. Weird, on one Teen Titans Go ep "Laundry day", Raven seemed to have the same look in her eyes. And teeth.
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceLoved both episodes. I know Silvia's voiced by April Winchell but her character made me think of a love-child between Wreck-It Ralph and Calhoun(which helps having Fix-it Felix as Wander). If something really impressed me, it's the airbrushing and quality animation.
My mother loved the cartoon but complained about it 'not looking like Disney'. Both me and father had to keep explaining that this was worked on by Craig Mc Cracken.
The font makes me think of the seventies for some reason while the two protagonists make me think if Sid And Marty Krofft Productions characters were animated.
I really like Hater and Silvia. They're good foils to Wander and balance the show perfectly, unlike The Annoying Orange.

Annoying Orange was suppose to have crappy foils. It's just that crappy.
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceI couldn't help but think how much April Winchell as Sylvia sounds like Jane Lynch. Not that that's a bad thing.
I'd like to see her have some Screwy Squirrel moments.
It does have a lot of 70's influence. Wander himself is basically a hippie who preaches about love and peace. He had a guitar he always plays and his hat looks really party-like. Heck, even the promos used the phrase "What Would Wander Do?", a phrase based on Jesus which was used frequently in protest movements back then.
Peace and love, Shota, mah main, happinin' man. Come join the physchedelic funktabulishious happenings. Get on board, brotha?
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceSurry down! (wait, that's the 60's...) Can you dig it?
What is that chant that Hater's men say? I couldn't really catch it since they say it in a crowd... though I couldn't really catch everything Wander was saying when he was imitating them either.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.I know he was basically just ripping off Bugs Bunny, but Wander putting on disguises between jump cuts was hilarious!
That was very reminiscent of Southern Fried Rabbit(both are extremely funny).
Only thing that made me sick to my stomach had to be the world in "The Greatest". I know it's done on purpose but... Ugh. I share my feelings with Hatred.
Also was surprised to see some of those aliens killed by Hatred.
And then Hater's army goes about acting just like the aliens they took over. Nice touch.
This show offers a full treasure chest of animated gif opportunities!
Hater's army was saying either "He's Great! Best Villain!" or "Hate's Great! Best Villain!"
Anyway, hi everybody! Loved the show, adore the animation and how it's basically the last 40 years of tv animation history thrown into a blender with a pinch of it's own unique flair.
Wander is a very well balanced character, cheerful and optimistic and completely uninterested in making enemies without tipping over into preaching or being plain old annoying. Sylvia is also a peach.
Despite my screen-name, ranting to you about One Piece is not my top priority.'Twas "Hate's Great! Best Villain" so we could get those worderful rhymes "Eat Cake! It's Fillin'! Date Kate! She's willin'!"
And Sylvia is definitely The peachiest!
I definitely like Wander being rather balanced for a naive over optimissitochappy go lucky guy because thankfully he knows when danger's a knocking and it's time run.
The Blog The ArtHis over-optimism is his flaw and weapon which really gives the dynamic between him and Silvia really work. They are a ying and yang and really love each other as friends. What's great about true friends is how they can point each others flaws and bicker, which works in things like the 'egg' episode.
The Egg was the best written of the three eps so far, in my opinion, but the most interesting animation wise has gotta be The Greatest. The Picnic was the funniest though.
Despite my screen-name, ranting to you about One Piece is not my top priority.I need to see the Picnic. I thought Picnic was supposed to be with the first episode but I guess it's the pilot.
A pilot IS a first episode.
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceDepends on your definitions. For me a Pilot is the proof of concept episode, and the first episode is the one that comes chronologically first. They overlap a lot, but not always.
Despite my screen-name, ranting to you about One Piece is not my top priority. The entire purpose of a pilot is proof of concept so the execs can say yes or no. It definitely explains the storyboard ending credits over the actual musical ending credits.
Besides, The Greatest has enough introductory exposition that it probably is supposed to be the chronological episode 1.
The Blog The ArtI still call the first episode of the production order of an airing show a pilot.
Some shows do that because of laziness.
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.Yeah, that's why I call the Greatest the 'first' episode. Hater hasn't met up with Wander until this point. It also has some establishing points about the characters that make us understand their characters.
I like how each episode is "The 'etc' " in a way to keep a theme. I bet that will be fun.

Exactly, it's like he was Born in the Wrong Century. He's only capable if Wander isn't in the equation, and when he is, he turns into a whiny little kid!
