Wander Over Yonder

The was really interesting.. It not only confirmed that Wander is Tumbleweed, it showed that Wander's whole deal has been reforming bad guys for a long time now - and that Sylvia herself was one of those bad guys.

It makes me think he's even smarter than his already Bugs Bunny-esque antics let on - like, a lot of the things that seem like him just being silly could actually be stuff that he knows have worked before (like The Picnic).

I wonder if he had a partner in Major Threat's galaxy too. Despite being really good at being the anti-corruptor, this episode is also one of those stories that makes me think he'd get himself killed or something if he didn't have someone to balance him out.

Speaking of which (albeit not directly) am I the only onw who thought The Butterfly Effect was a staggeringly stupid move?

"Hey, every time I go into my past, my present get steadily more fucked up. I know! I'll just keep doing it!"

It is now that I realize that... Dominator's kind of a boring piece of shit.

If ever that thought should occur to me, I'll just go and rewatch "I'm The Bad Guy" twenty more times.

I just feel like the more imposing a threat and overpowered someone is, the harder I want to see them fall and fail.

That's like...the point.

It's less that Dominator is boring, it's that they keep running the exact same plot with her over and over. IMO, once the "Hater tried to date her" arc was over she got a lot better as a villain - as a terrible threat who we mostly see indirectly or through her actions she rocks.

Dominator killed her own father. It was justifiable homicide and the reason she has well informed doubts about affection.

I still feel Dominator is a boring piece of shit - who needs to fail and fall badly, if only to ensure 4Chan stops labeling her as the Mary Sue she comes off as 67% of the way (to me, anyway.).

Shokew, we get it, you don't like Dominator. Is there anything else we can discuss about the show that isn't Dominator bashing?

There aren't many true recurring villains that don't have a non-villainous side...does THE BLACK CUBE OF DARKNESS count?

So, hiatus is over, new two episodes are out now.

First episode was cute. Didnt figure out who the hot shot was until the reveal, then I facepalmed with Sylvia. Dominator and Sylvia were also cool until Dominator let a bit too much of her true colors bleed through her disguise.

As for Dominator, I thought it gave a good look at her concept of friendship. She demands that they do what she wants and not demand anything of her. That sounds like some real backstory fodder there. ;p

Maybe it was her upbringing. Or, just her planet.

It was pretty interesting seeing how easily Dominator and Sylvia got along, bonding over their love of a good fight. You know, until Dominator let her utter evilness bleed through.

Don't hold your breath for Dominator's back story. Word of God intends to keep it unexplained.

There is no backstory for Dominator (not like she needs one, either.) - she's just an evil bitch who needs to get taken down. Nothing else and nothing wrong with that (as I'll be happy to see it, eventually, too!).

I'm sure people don't agree and think everyone should have a backstory - but let's face reality: that doesn't always happen, unless you have a long life. And even then, that rarely happens.

Wander is the only member of the current cast who knows that Dominator is his future mom.

Are phantomimes really scarier than arachnomorphs?

I've only ever seen 3 ships in the fanfictions: Wander X Dominator, Sylvia X Peepers, and Wander X Hater yaoi.

I've seen quite a bit of Sylvia/Dominator fanfics and fanart.

I think the only shipping I've seen is Wander X Slyvia(The one that I prefer the most), Hater X Dominator(But that was mostly from one blog that was shipping them before Hater had a crush on Dominator) and a little Dominator X Slyvia(Before the two met up in one of the recent episodes)

Also, man I really need to catch up on this series. I read the synopsis for the remaining episodes and they sound intense.

I'm finally caught up.

This show continues to be awesome despite it being cancelled early.
