Who wants to see Ashton Kutcher play the world's most egotistical tech industrialist?

No really, I'm asking.

I hear there's another movie in the works that's based more on the official biography.

I'm thinking I'll probably wait for that movie instead.

If Steve Jobs and Bill Gates have a prolonged shootout in a hospital, consider me sold.

I only have interest in this because Ashton Kutcher looks almost disturbingly like a young Steve Jobs. But otherwise it looks fairly cliche. I'd rather watch Pirates Of Silicon Valley instead, from what I heard it was pretty accurate.

Phaser Beam Computers. That's the line they gave the father of modern personal computers.

I hope they showcase both Jobs' brilliance and his ego, his creativity and his credit-stealing, his jerkishness and his relationship with his children.

Anything that goes too far to one side will be a disappointment.

[up][up][up]I thought young Steve Jobs looked like one of the Beatles.

I like to keep my audience riveted.

[up][up][up][up] On Colbert, Kutchner didn't shy away from talking about how much of an asshole Jobs was to his employees and how that doesn't necessarily take away from his accomplishments. So hopefully the movie itself doesn't shy away from those bits either.

[up][up] It really doesn't.

While it certainly makes a point of his brilliance and all that he accomplished, the movie doesn't at all shy away from his particular people skill issues - parking in Apple's handicap spots, his RAGE when people aren't dedicated to his idea of perfection, shorting some folks on what they should have earned (such as lying to Woz on how much they're getting paid for a project at one point), etc.

[up] Josh Gad, actually.

Here in my country, I was walking on a subway station. Then I saw the movie poster. I thought it was a joke and now that I check it...wow.
