At this point the Batman hate is coming off as rather childish and petty. I dislike the Legion of Super-Heroes and their convoluted, almost unreadable by now collective future teen soap opera asses, but I don't go around saying how much I dislike them and belittling their fans.
Who hates Batman? Can't you like both Batman and Superman? Fanboys are a different matter...
You know what, we get it. Batman is perfect, there's nothing at all wrong with him and never will be. He's the ideal comic book character, always, always, always right. Apart from when Frank Miller writes him as a borderline psychopathic child abuser in which case, eww, icky, Miller has no idea how to write Batman. That's not the proper Batmans. Even though he wrote what was probably the blueprint that kept the character relevant into the twenty-first century and very much inspired EVERY Batman movie since. Fact. No disputing that whatsoever. And no-one has the right to express any other opinion on Batman other than the one true faith.
Do you folks have any idea how utterly silly you sound? Have you any concept of self awareness whatsoever?
Didn't think so.
Uhh... can we please get back on topic? The movie about the two characters. Do we for sure know any thing more about it?
I dislike what writers do with Batman. That happens a little too often. It often comes in the form of escalation of threat, but since n52 its mostly been regression. I stopped reading entirely when Damien died. It reeked of the idea that Batman needs to be alone and mopey.
Is Damien back yet, by the by? Has Jason Todd at least flipped out about Bruce letting another Robin die?
Mega Man fanatic extraordinaireI slowly started reading Batman less and less even when Morrison took over, since I wasn't a fan of the focus on making the world of Gotham as utterly depraved as possible - the emphasis of the darkness of Gotham as being the realm of outright freaks, in part because I think when applied across the board it sometimes cheapens the characters' actual personalities (sometimes it just feels like a slightly different take on Darker and Edgier), though I liked the way Dick and Damien themselves were written most of the time. That sort of thing worked really well for the Doom Patrol (which is why Morrisson's Doom Patrol is one of my favorite comic runs ever), but I think elsewhere Morrisson's approach to storytelling is best done in certain doses (one of the reasons A Serious House on a Serious Earth is so good is because it gives us a very different view from what we generally see, for instance). Still, it wasn't too bad with Morrisson himself, but just got worse after he left.
After hearing what they did to a lot of the characters in nu52, I just kind of decided to get my Batman info from the internet for a while.

The world will look up and shout "Save us", and I'll look down and whisper "Too bad, Waluigi Time" Vote Loki 2016Wow, Crux I didn't expect that. I think we share the same opinions on Batman.
Batman's my favorite comic book hero. I just think it's fun to make fun of Batgod, as much as I enjoy when he's written that way.
"If you weren't so crazy I'd think you were insane."You know what, we get it. Batman is perfect, there's nothing at all wrong with him and never will be.
Wow, talk about fucking black and white strawmanning.
My favorite Batmans are the Adam West version and the one from The LEGO Movie.
I didn't write any of that.LEGO Batman is best Batman.
It's a cold, hard fact.
Bite my shiny metal ass.Tie between BTAS and Brave and the Bold.
Best Superman is All Star's.

Lego Batman is Darker and Edgier donchaknow.
You fell victim to one of the classic blunders!I like Brave and the Bold Batman the most too.
It also has Best Aquaman.
The best batman is Don Diego de la Vega. Bitches.
I guess for me it's between BTAS (but not TNBA) Batman, and the comics Batman - depending on the writer, of course. I also really like Young Justice Batman (they brought in a lot of his less-assholish traits I wish adaptations would adapt more often), but while he's their mentor the show isn't actually about him so he's not focused on too much.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Best Batman? I'm kinda partial to the way Denny O'Neil wrote him in the 70s. Yeah, he brought back a lot of the dark, brooding "Dark Knight", but he still came across as somewhat...sassy◊ at times.
I guess that's why the DCAU version of Batman is my favorite. Especially before the retool. He's a much more well-rounded character.
Weird in a Can (updated M-F)Best Batman for me is the Dark Knight Return one.
Best Superman is the For The Man Who Has Everything one, though the All-Stars one is a close second.
"Please crush me with your heels Esdeath-sama!My favorite Clark outside the comics is the one from Lois And Clark, probably. That show had its problems, but damn did they write a good Clark Kent.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.I like JLU's Batman most. So infallible, yet so cool about it.
I also really like old Bruce from BB.
"If you weren't so crazy I'd think you were insane."My favorite Supermans are All Star, Justice League Unlimited, and For all Seasons.
My various fanfics.
I am beginning to have my doubts about your enthusiasm for Batman, comrade Cruh.
But in all seriousness. We get it. You hate Batman and Batman fans. Change the record already or at least expand it.lol
