Looks like they'll be focusing more on speed and stealth for this version.

Here are six new images from the film.

It all looks good until you see the second image and then it's like, "Wow, Superman looks constipated."

Yeah, Superman giving someone the stink-eye looks... weird. Though Batman would probably look weird giving someone that look too (as apposed to his usual glowering glare).

Time to make a big deal out of nothing but Gal Gadot is sexy. A little too sexy for civilian mode, perhaps?

The neckline is a little low, but not far off what is considered standard female formal wear.

[up] Funny how he states sometimes killing is necessary... But I guess that's old 40s Batman to ya. Makes me wonder how modern day Joker would handle against this kind of character...

I own a book collecting evety single appearance of Batman from his debut to the debut issue of Joker and Catwoman, and oddly enough, Joker is the first opponent Batman ever bothers to save from mortal peril. Normally he wouldn't try to kill anyone, but if they placed themselves into deadly danger, he wouldn't even try to rescue them. This holds even during Robin's first appearance, where Batman allows one of Boss Zucco's goons fall to his death during a confrontation with Robin. Ironically, it seems it was Joker's debut, not Dick's, which humanizes Batman's stance on killing his enemies or letting them die.

Zack Snyder talks Batman v Superman and confirms that Batman and Superman will have roughly the same amount of screentime.

The rumour mill was abuzz this week with talk that Warner Bros. execs wanted even more emphasis on Ben Affleck's Caped Crusader in the film, and Snyder has revealed, in truth, screentime is quite evenly distributed between the two titular icons... mostly. "Only in that because it's a different Batman than the Batman that was in the Chris Nolan movies, so we have a little bit more explaining to do — and you just had a whole Superman movie," he explained. "But I think only in that way, because you need to understand where Batman is with everything. And that's more toward the beginning, but it evens back out as it goes on."

I imagine the movie the movie could be 25% Batman and 75% Superman and people will still complain about Batman getting overexposed. They've been pretty candid that this is not really Man of Steel 2, which is inherent in the title. Batman v Superman, I'm pretty sure Batman will not be a cameo.

[up]Some complain because Batman's name is first in the title and call it Superman v Batman out of spite.

B comes before S so Batman makes more sense to be first.

We spend hours a day on TV Tropes discussion tv, movies, tropes, etc. No one has any right to call someone out as "obsessive." The articles he posts are on topic, and he probably frequents those sites anyway.

As for the Bill Finger credit, it's a very nice gesture. Most casual Batman fans know he was behind the original Batman design, although I don't think it really dawned on me he didn't get the same credit Bob Kane did.

I thought that was kinda neat to be honest. It's nice to see the credit finally being shared, especially with the controversy about Marvel still not giving Jack Kirby his due.

(Incidentally, I found out this week that a guy in my neighborhood interviewed Bob Kane before he died. Apparently footage of that is in the Batman Begins DVD.)

They do give him credit now. Starting, I believe, last year, they started crediting all the comics he helped created with "Created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby." Same thing with Steve Ditko and other artists. Yep, here's the article.

That's indeed a good step forward, and perhaps what's propelling Bill Finger's credit ahead.

Bill Finger's credit was something else entirely - Bob Kane basically blackmailed DC into giving him full credit, since he lied about his age when they hired him. And then he spent the rest of his career (and after) making sure that Bill Finger didn't get any credit. Bob Kane was seriously like a supervillain.

(Which is weird, considering Bill Finger was the inspiration for the Green Lantern supervillain the Black Hand.)

DC is trying to make up for it in the few ways they can, giving Finger's surviving relatives pensions and stuff.

it was honestly a pretty shitty thing for kane to do though, if finger wasn't gonna get any money from it his name should at least have been on the byline.
