Kamen Rider RP (Signup)

Welcome to Kamen Rider: City Battle Defense! The shows were the monsters are real and the points do matter. The date is May 15, 2033! And I am your host MIRA! Here the Kamen Riders of our city battle monsters to keep us safe and earn fame and fortune! This is our first season so let us start from the Beginning!

Story: Monsters have been attacking Toshikagaku, a city that prides itself on peacefulness and its advances in science. To combat this growing threat a group of various scientists created the Researchers Increasing Defense, Engineering Resources or R.I.D.E.R for short. Together they created the Rider System. However, they could not decide on what the finished system should use as the basis of the system or what it should look like. A comprise was reached. Each scientist would complete a Rider System in their own way and give it to a person of their choosing.

When the city and media heard about this they decided to turn into a contest. The chosen specimens would be publicly acknowledged, at least in their transformed state, and their fights would be aired. Each monster would be assigned a point value and the Riders would be granted points by defeating the monsters. The winner would be decided when they reached a predetermined number of points that would only be revealed later. R.I.D.E.R than created the Early Warnings System that would alert Riders to monster sightings, allow them to summon their bikes and communicate with one another. Each Rider would also be given a bike personalized to match their Rider System. With that the Kamen Rider: City Battle Defense was born.

Bikes: Each Rider has their own personal bike that they can use for travel and combat. Each bike also comes equipped with a single special ability from things to driving on water, to grappling between buildings. The bike can also be summoned using the E.W.S.

Monsters: The monsters attacking the city have been named Breakers because they break down the boundary between organic life and robotic life. After observation of attacking monsters and the capture of one the scientists of the city came to the conclusion that animal DNA had somehow been merged with robots to create the Breakers. The city felt that naming them cyborgs or androids would scare the general public when the day came that cyborgs and androids were common place. There seems to be two types of the monsters. The first appear in large groups and seem to act as a hive mind. They have low level intelligence and are more programmed machine than an organic machine. They are called Workers because of the similarity they share to the worker caste of insects. The second type appears much more organic, have control over the Workers and often appear by themselves. They have a much higher level of intelligence, almost as if they have some human mixed in. Each of the second type is classified individually.

Toshikagaku: Toshikagaku is an advanced city whose biggest export is t heir advances in science. From Biomechanics to robotics to medicine, they are responsible for the majority of the largest breakthroughs in the past ten years. The city's skyline primarily consists of skyscrapers but the citizens also consider nature important so there many natural parks, ponds and caves in and around the city. Many zoos, museums, and monuments stand throughout the city, marking the importance of the natural world, history and praise. The largest statue in the city stands right in the middle of it. The statue is called the Educated and holds a book in one hand and a pen in the other. The land around the city is rocky and not very farmable so the majority of the city's food is shipped in.

T.E.C: The primary TV channel in is Toshikagaku Entertainment Chanel, or T.E.C. It has a variety of programs ranging from sitcoms to news to reality shows. Its biggest upcoming show is Kamen Rider: City Battle Defense and is being hosted by their biggest star: Mira Russell and her co-host Isaac De Walt.

• Name: Explains itself

• Kamen Rider Name: The name of your Kamen Rider and the base of their motif (For example: If a Rider is based on Fire, they may

be called Kamen Rider Inferno)

• Gender: Are you a boy? Or a girl?

• Age: How old are you. Minimum age: 16

• Appearance: What does your character look like? Please describe.

• Kamen Rider Appearance: What does your character look like when transformed? Again, please describe.

• Bio: What is your character's history? How did they get the Rider System? What are their motivations for keeping the Rider System?

• Personality: What motivates them? What are their likes and dislikes? Do they have any strange habits? This doesn't have to be too complex as long as there is a base personality.

• Catchphrase: What does your character say before battle? As they defeat their opponent?

• Weapons and gadgets: You may have up to six weapons and gadgets. You can either have them from the start or get them as the RP goes on. You might want to start with a few so that you can add more for later situations.

• Limit Break: The finisher. You may have up to five but you can only have one right away. Just one. You can add more as the RP goes on.

• Bike: Its Kamen Rider. You can't have Kamen Rider without the bike.

Almost complete example sheet

• Name: Nicholas Gresly
• Kamen Rider Name: Kamen Rider Engine
• Gender: Y Chromsome
• Age: 24
• Appearance: He has a rather scruffy looking appearance over all. He has an oily looking skin that's often covered in blots of dirt. Usually, he can be expected to have a five O'clock shadow or worse. His dull black hair is either cut off with a switch knife or put in a messy ponytail. His nails are often dirt filled and unkempt. He is more commonly seen in a pair of dirty overalls or a ruffled orange jumpsuit. More often then not, however, his lack of looks is not out of laziness but out of dedication to his job.

• Kamen Rider Appearance: Unlike most Riders, Engine has bulk. His suit looks more like armor than a costume. The main coloring is a copper on black overall scheme, with copper colored lines going down to his waist. Down along his shoulders are hand rails. They look grab-able, but actually come unattached quite easily. His face features no actual "Eyes" but a face can be seen if you look hard enough. It is two bronze lines going down vertically on the far edge, with a white circle in the bottom center. His legs have large grates in them. When he calls upon his suit, steam comes out of them. On his feet are wheels; when he wants, the can extend to give him more speed.

In case you haven't figured it out, he is based of a steam engine. Specifically, an LNER A3 Peppercorn

• Bio: Nicholas Gresly worked in a car factory for twelve hours a day, six days a week. Growing up poor, he was the first in his family to graduate high school and subsequently never stopped working since. He never had much of a social life, being either at his job or sleeping at home. He was satisfied, for the most part, and happy. That was, of course, till the monster came. During one of the monster attacks, the factory where he worked was hit hard. During its rampage, one of the main reactors was hit. In the end, not much was left. Only scrapiron and a few bodies. Nicholas was seen rescuing some of his other workers by a scientist named Doctor Samantha Fairweather. He was shortly awarded his Rider System.

• Personality: As stated earlier, Nicholas is hardworking, and rather simple. When assigned a task, he will do it, often until the expense of his own personal comfort. It is very rare to see him tired or to hear him complain.

• Catchphrase:
  • Transformation complete: Engine On! Full Steam Ahead!
  • Being hurt badly: Not... going... to brake yet! (Its a pun. Break and Brake)
  • Limit Break: Set for Head On Collision!

• Weapons and gadgets:
  • Pumping Iron: A large rocket powered lance. Noting to special, except that its ON FIRE! And painted mostly black with a bronze tip.
  • Coal bunerk: A large, steam funnel shaped cannon on his left shoulder. It acts like a mortar, shooting a hot coal out of it at the opponent. It explodes into flames,

• Bike: The Mallard. It is very similar an LNER A4 Pacific. It is also incredibly fast, going up to 100 Kilometers per second.

Kamen Rider Name: Kamen Rider Visor or Kamen Rider Dismantle or Kamen Rider Construct ( I can't decide. )

Gender: Male

Age: 19

Appearance:

• Face: [1]
  • Colors: Tan skin, kind've pale. Black hair, starts fading halfway up. Black eyebrows. Dark green eyes.
• Clothes: He wears the clothes in this nasty picture —> [2]
  • Colors: The same as in there. Green on green. The shirt under the coat is almost black, but still green.
• He doesn't normally wear shoes, only socks. Though when he does wear shoes, they're sandals. He still wears his socks with them.
  • Colors: Socks are black and the sandals are dark green.

Kamen Rider Appearance:

Bio: 4 weeks after Kite had graduated from high school(He was born late), he was walking back to his apartment. Not really enjoying his free life, but not hating it also. On the way to his place, he saw a kid in the middle of the road, getting quickly passed by cars on both sides, the kid's mom screaming from the side of the road. Well, Kite's a good person, most of the time, so he decided to carefully walk out into the road to the kid and instead of escorting him safely to the side of the road, kicked him out of it quickly. Yea, the boy got some scratches, but he's still alive...Kite has always been a nice guy, and likes to take the high road in most things. Even when he was a kid, he was known to not be trustworthy, but to never be mean. Oh and to mention, he wasn't trusted because he lied if he felt the truth was mean or would upset the person, and he rarely had any tells. Maybe the occasional eye flicker or giggle, but he's great at lying. Kite's regarded as smart in his group of friends, and average to everyone else, mostly due to his being too lazy to work. So, back to the main thing, he got his Rider System from a the reluctant mom, still angry that he kicked her kid, but grateful that he was brave enough to save him.

Personality: Kite is a rough, blind justice guy. He won't go out of the way to help someone, but if he sees some person in trouble, or is told about the trouble, he'll go and help. Though sometimes, actually most of the time, his way of helping is unorthodox or unwanted because of its blunt nature. His blunt helping is caused by his laziness, he doesn't want to spend too much time on anything. Kite's a hard one to figure out, emotion doesn't really shine through him. He can be mistaken as a Recluse also, mainly for all the time he spends inside.

Catchphrase: I'll put these up eventually.

I might watch a few episodes of one of the series (I follow a blogger who happens to be in this fandom) and get back to this.

Just keep in mind that if you ever see "Subbed by TV-Nihon" during the episode, close it immediately because they are terrible subbers.
