Then they put the thing on the other thing and the end.
I DID wonder if they were actually going to cover the third act.
Mecha Uni-kitty?!
In related LEGO news, anyone hear the leaks?
Are you referring to Bionicle leaks, the Frozen leaks, or the leak in my ceiling that is bothering the heck out of me every time it rain?

That last one. I think it's the most important.
In all seriousness, considering we're what, two or three years away from the sequel, I'm only very passingly interested in leaks. Look how much the draft script floating around differed from the final. Even if the leaks are legit, I wouldn't be sure about them telling us anything about the final movie.
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster.Regarding the BIONICLE one, it's some coincidence of that split second cameo of it in the movie, if it wasn't planned.
Personally, I never thought of it as anything more than a basic shout-out, especially since they showed a picture from the original lineup.
Though the leaks show the original team are back as sets.
Man, if you wanna discuss it, you might as well do it in the actual thread. I don't think this is the proper place.
but HOW?I apologize, too much hype yesterday and today.
I love this film.
This is my new Bad Day Movie, for when I'm miserable and just want to curl up on the couch and watch something heartwarming.
It joins the ranks of Wall-E, Lilo & Stitch, and Frozen.

My Tumblr. Currently liveblogging Haruhi Suzumiya and revisiting Danganronpa V3.Same here. It's one of those films that you can't watch and not be in a fantastic mood afterwards :)
Kinda like Guardians Of The Galaxy
You are displaying abnormally high compulsions to over-analyze works of fiction and media. Diagnosis: TV Tropes Addiction.Something I haven't seen discussed much is its deconstruction and twist regarding The Chosen One trope. Personally, I thought their explanation for it perfectly hit at why we continue to use this cliche over and over, even as it becomes less feasible. At the same time, I have my fingers crossed this film will mean the end of "chosen one" movies. It's already getting hard enough to play it straight as it is, so they're often has to be a twist thrown in to it just to make the trope easier to swallow. And this was the chosen one twist to end all chosen one twists.

Between The Lego Movie and Frozen, it's been a good time for brutally murdering tropes I hate recently.
My Tumblr. Currently liveblogging Haruhi Suzumiya and revisiting Danganronpa V3.Gashi-gashi just posted some new fanart of the movie, but ...
Might as well finish the sentence, unless you're trolling for responses.*
The images in question are NSFW, involving Wyldstyle in assorted pornographic situations. And that's as far as I'm going to go for the description.

All your safe space are belong to TrumpTo be honest I've been digging that guy's art for a while now. Even if they are sometimes...suggestive, to say the least. Then again, I don't really consider my tastes in things to be the best, sooooo...

On my wave, passing oooooooonMy apologies then. Anyways, as they say, Gashi-gashi can do no wrong ... unless you're at work in this case.
Lego Porn sounds like it'd be the most unsexy thing imaginable, in an "insert Slot A into Tab B" kind of way.
Insert witty 'n clever quip here.I love seeing how artists reinterpret the characters if they were more human!
Edit: Actually, on second thought it'd probably be better if we dropped the porn discussion completely. We know there's TLM porn out there (no exceptions), but it's not really appropriate to discuss in this forum, even without going into the details.

All your safe space are belong to Trump
It's a character trait. Plus, it is one of his charming characteristics.
On another note, I gotta say that this scene from 22 Jump Street reminded me of Bad Cop's tantrums:
