I ranke tales in there because honestly, it's the only time Momo gets any real spotlight time.
Ember Island Players was the biggest surprise since Doug seemed pretty lukewarm about it in the VLOG.
Dante Basco was hilarious.
City of Walls and Secrets and Tales are two of my favourites. For the longest time, I disliked Sozin's Comet, but i've since warmed up to it. I remember also being upset that Toph's issues with her parents were never resolved, but they're currently resolving that thread in The Rift. Hell, alot of that was stuff that I had issue with because it wasn't foreshadowed properly. (You could have told them about the genocide days ago Zuko! NO I WILL NEVER ACCEPT ANY EXCUSE FOR IT) As well as that after Day of Black Sun and Crossroads, I guess I was expecting a bit more subversiveness, but overall, it's decent at least. Still could have been better.
A corpse should be left well enough alone...I just now got the Cab Bitches pun.
Oh my god.
The failure to communicate during the first part of Sozin's Comet is my only real complaint about the episode. I don't even mind the Lion Turtle or the energybending because (and this might sound weird) they add a sort of mythic feel to it.

Oh God! Natural light! What's the pun?
My Cab Bitches / My Cabbages
I thought it was hilarious. XD
Despite my screen-name, ranting to you about One Piece is not my top priority.Doug just posted on FB the first look at Christopher Walken as Hook in ABC's live broadcast of Peter Pan! "This isn't over!! ...PAAAN!!"
I am simultaneously confused and outraged by the lack of HELLO DANTE in this thread. :|
but HOW?Is Doug intentionally mispronouncing names just to get people to start complaining at him in the comments?
Man, he's been doing that ever since he started watching the series. He's even outright said that multiple times.
but HOW?Not to derail TOO violently, but I just realized to today that in the Nostalgia Critic's review of Jurassic Park III, he never once actually says the word "Spinosaurus". I'm not sure if that's a writing flub or if that says something about the Critic's character.
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatIroh was pronounced correctly, though? Who (or what) was pronounced incorrectly?
Oh God! Natural light!"Soak-ah".
Did he? Must have missed that?
Oh God! Natural light! He and Rob justify it as "it's the proper, correct pronunciation in the Asian language it is based in. Soak-ah is the right way to pronounce it."
Which let me remind you was SHAMALAYN'S reason for the name pronunciation changes. Ee-roh he said was the proper pronunciation and Ong and all of those.
To Be Updated when I'm not LazyI thought it was just a joke about the live action movie. Y'know, like that same joke from the end of the review before to that review.
Insert witty 'n clever quip here.Is it really that important though?
(Note that this works for both Doug's vlogs and Shyamalan's movie)
Not at all.
Which is why it's hilarious when people get so pissed about it.

Insert witty 'n clever quip here.I just find it funny both of them use the same reason.
To an extent I find that a reason I can get behind. If you want to use the proper name then cool. Shamaylan I think just should have said that. I feel like before the movie came out we would have backed up anything. Cause he was all "oh I love the show, I watched it with my kids!"
To Be Updated when I'm not LazyI mean, supposedly there was some studio trickery involved behind the scenes that more or less sabotaged the process, if you believe that one forum post about a month or two ago. Not a totally credible source of information at all, but I'd be willing to believe it. Shyamalan isn't a totally incompetent filmmaker or writer, and if he was actually a fan of the show, I'd be willing to give him credit and say he could have potentially pulled it off.
Insert witty 'n clever quip here.I know this review's a little old and I should probably watch the movie before saying anything concrete, but did anyone think Doug's review of The Lorax was a little…much?
I mean, yeah, the movie did awesome with the box office, but I don't think the popularity was enough to dedicate entire buildings to it (Lorax IHOP and Lorax Mall? Really?)
And yeah, it's probably supposed to be a joke, but I don't know, it still feels like it was blown out of proportion IMO…
Well, by my count it has one segment that's spectacular (Iroh), two that are nice and heartfelt (Katara and Toph, Zuko), one that, while short, I think is pretty funny (Sokka), one that's so-so (Aang), and one that's just weird (Momo).
It's a good episode, don't get me wrong, but going by the sum of its parts, there are probably stronger ones. At the very least, that's what I think Doug was going for.
Oh God! Natural light!
