Doug has always had a nasty habit of putting his foot in his mouth, especially when he's angry.
That said, I think the point here was to be as inflammatory as possible. Whatever Doug is outright stupid isn't one of them and he understands when something is funny and when something is 'ha ha wat', or even just 'ugh'. He specifically said this was aimed at the teenage boys who thought Transformers was good, and not anyone else. Of course the idea that it was teenage boys in that age range making this movie all it's money is an assumption and perhaps one worth unpacking, considering when the first of these came out

Despite my screen-name, ranting to you about One Piece is not my top priority.Wait, are people in this thread mad that Doug called all the movies the same?
You might want to watch this video from Red Letter Media where the first three movies sync up in various spots. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Rfup0XKx7o
I thought people here are just uncomfortable with word "penis" <_<
I could probably make a nasty joke about that, but I'll refrain.
Insert witty 'n clever quip here.Ah, didn't notice that Doug posted his real thoughts video since I didn't notice that it was different video from NC one <_< Since quick glance says "Transformer 4" and Doug and white wall is on pic so... Yeah, didn't pay enough close attention
I'll only defend the film because I like it but I'm not upset at his opinion. More at the way he phrased his thoughts. Like... He turned Micheal Bay into a metaphorical pedophile for some reason. o-e
Eh, NC's opinions were exaggerated though
Reveal: Jason from the Adventuretime vlogs also hates all the Karate Kid movies.

I still haven't seen it so I'm skipping this week's.
Doug doesn't really talk about the movie that much; he uses it to discuss films that don't follow the traditional plot structure.
Just a person. He/him."Hi. I'm gonna name this video after a movie so you think it's just gonna be ABOUT the movie, but I'm really going to talk about it for 30 seconds! Yay!"
Ok so I watched it. Best Editorial in a while. I like it when Doug does film analysis and wish he'd do more of them.
... Doug didn't get the deal with the way the episode was shot, with the iris containing all the characters on the border. ... he didn't catch how it tied to the storyline and Jason had to TELL him about how it did.
.... Doug, I love ya, but sometimes....
Eh it's not that stupid. I remember a lot of people needing a few rewatches to get what was going on when it first came out.
... okay yeah. I had to watch it again to catch Johnny appearing at the end too. But I totally got the significance of the iris through the episode and never questioned it.
What is with Doug Walker and his penis-obsession? It's been bugging me lately since the Transformers 4 and Adventure Time V-log.
He's a hyper-active male. Whaja expect?
He's five years old?
What part of "he's a hyper-active male. Whaja expect?" says that he's 5 years old??
Children tend to be hyper...?
And him being a hyper-active male is your answer!

None of them are the EXACT same - they're always the same basic setups and sequences but more decayed each time. That's why I think Doug was so angry.
