Maou: Caliborn, my old fiend! I didn't expect to meet you here.

The witch looks up from her bottle of whiskey."Ah. I see the green horned one has woken. Who are you? Some kind of demon?"

Maou, being arrogant as hell, answers.

Maou: Well, there's a reason they call me "Lucifer of the Jurals".

Anyways, I've got stuff to do. See ya.

Suika walks out of the bar.

"Aw man, did I miss another- does anyone have any aspirin?! Did I miss another drinking contest?"

Yoshikage Kira enters the bar.

I need a drink.

The witch greets him with a nasty look. "Doesn't everyone? What other reason would you have to be here?"

Quiet, you.

Kira asks the bartender for something strong. The bartender gives him the drink.

The witch is rather taken aback by his sudden rebuttal. She seems to consider burning him to a crisp right there and then, but proceeds to calm down and shrink back into her seat, thinking better of it after all that had already taken place that night.

Another being enters into the bar. He is a reptilian humanoid of some sort, with metallic limbs and a metallic jaw. He speaks with a metallic vibration.

Thaddeus: Whew. Those guards speak with the spit of a camel, but my teeth are sharper and my fist is tougher. Bartender! Could you, please, give me a drink? I will pay you well.

The witch observes this newcomer with interest.

Thaddeus: Okay, Mr. Bartender. Give me a cup of strong arak, as strong as my metal arm, mix it with the grapefruit wine and I'll pay you 600 coins. Understood?

"You people order so many strange drinks. First this "sake", and now "arak". Is that a beverage from your homeland?"

Thaddeus notices the witch.

Thaddeus: Indeed. Arak is one of major beverages in Ghafia. However, I wouldn't say that I have a homeland. Although I lived in Ghafia, I lost my old clothing and had to travel to survive under some circumstances. However, it wouldn't be polite of me not to introduce myself! My name is Thaddeus E. Klang, and I am a salesman of antiquities and other strange things.

"Sounds fascinating. What kind of antiquities, exactly?"

Thaddeus: Countless! All kinds of swords, shields, artifacts, ancient weapons and pieces of some sunken city.

"All genuine, I presume? We had one like you in our land once, one who called himself the "Wizard". Everyone feared him and his great "power", once. Turned out to be nothing but a fraud, fooling us with parlor tricks."

Thaddeus: Of course. It's all genuine. I have proof!

Thaddeus pulls out a sword.

Thaddeus: An ancient Ghafian sword, recovered from the city of Al-Batross. It has been the sword of an ancient Ghafian general, Fennek Al-Faux. It has cut through a thousand enemies!

The witch's eyes widen. "Really? How much are you willing to bargain for it, peddler-man? Name your price."
