Say, is it particularly difficult to get the Neutral path if you side with Walter at the first split? I ask because I plan to do my Neutral run as a liveblog in the vein of Sinclair Drake vs. and, at least in my opinion, Walter's route is simply a better story than Jonathan's.

Just watched a video on Youtube featuring defeating Masakado's Shadow in one turn.

So apparently Charge and Dark Energy stacks? Can anyone get me confirmation on this?

Because if this is true, then stacking Spirit Focus with Concentrate, combined with Ice Ring, Glacial Blast, and boosting attack to +2 and enemy defense to -2 will probably be key to one turning Red Rider.

Not to mention the combo I saw on the video. Kannuki-Throw + Physical Pierce + Dark Energy + Charge = A lot of hurt if all 16 hits connect.

Yeah. He had a party of three. Flynn was only there to use chakra pots on M's S. while it used Guardian's Eye.

Two Dark Energy + Charge Kannuki-Throws did it in.

I find it strange that not only is Masakado himself not the top Fury, the Shadow, for all its phenomenal power, isn't either. I honestly think it'd make more sense if he'd stayed the top Zealot, with the Shadow as the... even-more-top Zealot.

The Top Fury is Susano-O right?

Meh, he just starts at a higher level. Which isn't even that good when you the Demon Enhance apps.

Top is Shiva. Then Susano-O, then the Shadow.

Oh right. Never really checked Shiva's race.

Who is the top Femme?

Why, Shiva's gal Kali of course! Certainly more badass than her Parvati form...

They do indeed stack. The same with Spirit Focus and Concentrate.

Also I think in the battle your talking about, he also used Archangel's Law for the smirk, but I can't remember.

Ah, Kali. She was very useful, especially against Sanat.

EDIT: Nope. No Archangel Law smirks. Just Dark Energy, Charge, and Kannuki throw from Uriel, and Guardian Eye from M's S.

So, just as preparation, who would you guys say is the hardest non-DLC boss in the game, and is whoever it is harder than Demiurge in SJ?

I haven't fought all of the bosses, but given what I've heard and how it went with other Fiends I've fought, I'd say it's probably Red Rider.

The Fiends honestly sound pretty fun to fight since there's so much strategy involved, as opposed to Demiurge whose fight was more long and boring than super-difficult.

Been testing out Stacked Dark Energy and Charge with Kannuki-Throw.

Damage Numbers.

Normal(No Charge/DE/Buff/Debuff) does about 90-100 per hit. Charge/DE does around 650-750. Buff Attack to +2 and Enemy Def to -2 with Charge/DE results in 1400-1500 per hit.

1400 x 15 = 21000. More than enough to kill anything in the game.

Mortal Jihad, with Charge/DE stack, no buffs or debuff does around 3300 damage, 6500 with a critical hit.

Just fused a Mot with Guardian Eye

The Fiends proved to be a challenge I liked.

Been grinding for Macca on my Chaos playthrough by talking to Barbatos. I now own all the equipment I wanted from Ginza's celebrity store.

Also Hamburger Time the game makes a point of saying rebellions = chaos. Masakado started a rebellion that he lost in life. So it's only natural he would be chaos. He also shares a connection with the earth and is made from materials that originate from the earth in his true form as well.

Holy YHVH. I went back to Tayama's basement to pick up Yaso Magatsuhi and there's level 70+ demons running around there now!

The place only gets filled with them after alignment lock.

I know who the next boss is and I'm readying the tissues. I also know there's a pretty decent level gap between the White and this boss. Which is why I've gone over to Tokyo Bay to train and recruit demons there.

After about a two weeks' break from the game, I started playing again today. I completed the Tokyo Cosmos quest, did the final Nozomi quest, became the Champion and recruited Masakado, and now I'm ready for the Neutral path endgame. Before I did that, though, I started Fiend hunting.

Went after Chemtrail first. He spawned after a little over an hour, and, after one very grueling battle, I won and was able to fuse him. Gonna go for Matador next.

I want to congratulate you on getting Chemtrail to spawn so quickly, but I'm more furious and filled with anger and rage because it took me 27 hours for him to finally spawn for me.

Also, when facing Black Rider make sure you spend most of your macca, because by the end the amount you'll have will be practically zero thanks to Wastrel Beam.

I've been trying to spawn Black Rider on and off for like the past month to no avail. Really frustrating.

Wow, there are level 80 demons in Tennozu... and I've been beating them.

And Merkabah is pretty entertaining. Though for the Chariot of Light, or whatever he is, he seems oddly weaker than my guys.
