Also read and beat Epidemic in Mikado.

YHVH shoved his universe inside Hugo which caused all of this.

I got to experience the other Messiahs. Even with Nanashi at level 99 they're way stronger than him.

Well they are disembodied souls, and we know from experience IVA's Flynns not that strong from the final battles.

Plus you haven't broken the level cap like these souls did.

First form Stephen seems to have at least three patterns he'll use. The easiest is where he won't use Reboot Code at all, and the hardest is when he'll not only use Reboot Code but spam the elemental piercing attacks too; I've actually never survived the latter. I'm not sure what, if anything, sets him on one path or another.

I feel like spamming elemental piercing attacks until you die is based off your resistances, like the Fiends's almighty spam in the last game. I'm not positive though, since it only happened once to me.

Bit the bullet, bought the gem DLC, and splurged on St. Germain's goodies. Felt a bit like cheating, but given that last time the biggest superboss was literally impossible without DLC...

I DID IIIIIIIIIIIIT! MAN that was fun. I actually found the second form easier than the first; his massive chunk of HP actually works against him in the long run, since the battle goes on so long that, thanks to the Hero and Aleph's weakening moves, Stephen will be weak to pretty much everything by the end.

Speaking of achievements, I recently beat Cleopatra. Her Horde can be almost completely shut down by Krishna's Raga moves, though Cleopatra herself hits like a truck. Found myself switching demons around a lot.

I also recently managed to beat Black Rider and Pale Rider within the 10-turn limit. Now I'm getting ready to face the Trumpeter Horde.

You know what I've decided the Peace ending reminds me of?

The scene with the demons and humans rebuilding Tokyo. It reminds me of the end of WALL-E.

That was a cute little scene.

Shame the ending is completely undercut by what they did to Dagda and treating it like a pure happy ending.

Eh, he was a dick anyway. I'm not too broken up about it.

He was trying to kill them. It was a shady thing to do but it's not like there were many options.

I felt more bad for Dagda than I ever did Asahi, Isabeau, Toki, and Nozomi. Can't deny I laughed with joy when Danu meets her end.

I'm sad that you don't get to fight her directly to cave her face in.

And yea, as much of an ass as Dagda was, I found him much more likable than any of the characters I was supposed to be rooting for.

Peace versus Anarchy is essentially communitarianism versus individualism. I'm much more of a communitarian so I like Peace better. This is also why I think, while neither is exactly great, that Law is better than Chaos.

Law is the biggest lie. Fueled on the suffering of the masses while deluding them that it's peace, infecting them with demonic genes while manipulating them to kill themselves for a promised kingdom they will never be allowed into.

Except in II or Majin Tensei II Light-Law (No YHVH to muck it up), but Satan knew YHVH was a monster for condoning genocide and atoned via the Loop Hole Abuse YHVH was too arrogant to think of.

Chaos is the foundation of all human possibility and potential. As Nyarly learned the hard way at the end of Eternal Punishment.

Yeah, YHVH can suck it.

Chaos ignores the value of stability and sustainable growth, instead calling for everything to endlessly cycle through booms and busts. It also screams about freedom but ignores that a life spent in fear of the powerful cannot be called free.

Not to say YHVH's law is any better, just that Chaps sucks a hard one too.

Hey Chaos can be more than accepting of stability and sustainable growth. That's why it's Chaos. Anything is possible within it, except YHVH not being a dick.

Lucifer even tells you restoring Law and Order is fine at the end of II, because YHVH is gone and it's their right as beings of chaos and freedom.

Most mainline games just has a big ugly demon with a club go "Wurld of str" and they get oneshot by Divine Angel.
