Someone on the Supposedly Rebellious Series page really hates Dr. Alphys. Saying her actions are worse than Asgore's. Really? A single (however catostrophic) failed science experiment is worse than six children murdered? Should I remove that? And neither case really counters how Undertale sticks to it's guns on the mercy theme.

Anyways, I'm starting to get popular. This guy actually made the comic after reading my theory that Sans is just a huge Earthbound nerd who hides his fandom in his basement.

What I find odd about that post is the idea that Alphys "gets off scot free" for her actions. Depending on the ending, she's either forced to confront those she wronged, and lose her job in the process, or it's heavily implied that she commits suicide out of sheer guilt. Not exactly what I call a Karma Houdini.

I'm not remembering either of two ever happening. Not even in the wide amount of neutral endings.

Former is true ending, latter is an ass lot of neutral endings

In the Mettaton end, Mettaton admits that he wanted Alphys to rule besides him but he couldn't find her. And then he admits that he should have been better to her.

I think there are others but I can't remember off hand.

I think Alphys even insinuates in the True Lab or during the Queen Alphys ending that she was contemplating suicide.

In some of the phone conversations with Undyne its also implied that when Undyne met Alphys in the dump she was planning on jumping into the abyss.

In the true ultimate golden pacifist ending, Toriel fires Alphys when she comes clean about the Amalgamations. Which is funny because Toriel didn't have an official position anymore so I guess she performed a coup. Not that Asgore would complain.
