Okay, I am about ready to post the actual RP thread and will update this post once I do so, but before that, here is the starting point for all of your characters:
- Kikuko is in a NERV van with maybe one or two NPC officers, nearing the point where she will pick up the pilots of Units 01-04, probably at school during lunch hour or just after class.
- Arianna is undergoing a sync test in Unit-00 with Gabe helping to oversee. I guess Eduard can either be helping with this also or riding along with Kikuko in the NERV van.
- Sachiel will show up once everyone has had a chance to post and establish themselves, forcing Unit-00 to scramble and generally making life difficult for the NERV van in the streets of Tokyo-3.

No worries, just a quick establishing post for everyone should be fine. There may be some time for interaction too, but hopefully we can get the kids in the van on the way to NERV relatively quickly and start the action.

Sorry, it's just that this thing doesn't seem to have all that much momentum out of the gate, and the last time this happened the RP died before it could really get going.
I mean, I definitely understand if people are simply busy with more important things at the moment, but I don't really expect all that much out of an opening post, maybe a quick paragraph to describe what your character is doing at the moment and how they're feeling. That's totally great if you want to do more than that, but it's not necessary.

I'm not really sure what I did yesterday, I played The Last Story for a game part of today, and I haven't watched Neon Genesis Evangelion in a while so I'm not entirely sure how to deal with things. Speaking of, besides Yui and Gendo any other characters from the anime showing up/getting mentioned? At the moment I'm mainly concerned with classmates. Though I won't be posting tonight, and depending on how things go I might not post tomorrow. I'll try posting before or during Friday though. Sorry for slowing things down.

I'm probably the one who has to worry the most about keeping things consistent with the anime. I do own all the Platinum DV Ds and Eo E, so if something comes up and I'm not sure how to proceed, I can always watch the relevant episode. But honestly though, that should really only be necessary for the battles. All the stuff in between is determinant on how the characters react to things, and we've got a completely different cast of characters.
As for other canon characters who might play a role, I'm thinking Ritsuko might be around, and maybe Fuyutsuki too, though honestly I'm not sure any of them will be making much more than occasional cameos.
...Maybe I should just declare this thing dead. Honestly I've just about lost interest in running it anyway.

Huh... just when I had some time to write up after some hectic week.
Go for it. Maybe it'll be the injection this needs to get going again. If people actually start posting maybe I'll change my mind. I just didn't want to have to keep reminding everyone to post since that really wouldn't be fun for anyone (not directed to anyone specifically, but it does seem like the few posts we have managed to accumulate have only come because of posts and P Ms I've made).

So to answer your question yes, we will generally be sticking to the established order of events from the series and I expect most of the battles to at least be reminiscent of the ones in canon, but depending on the exact actions the characters decide to take there might be slightly different outcomes. For example, in the first battle if Kikuko manages to get the kids to NERV HQ soon enough, we might be able to launch one of the Evas before Unit-00 is forced to withdraw and the fight might become more one-sided than it was in the series. Or more generally, if anyone can think of alternative strategies that weren't in the series, we may have a chance to try those out. I won't be basing what happens on any sort of battle system, but I do expect what happens to be within the realm of plausibility for Eva.
