I mean, technically he's been the King since his father first died, even if he was only the King of two (and then 4, and then three until he got to earth) people.

But I believe there's been a whole thing about why he still calls himself the Prince of all Saiyans. Can't remember where it was, but I know it's out there.

My guess is Toriyama just never thought to call him a King, or thought Prince sounded better.

I mean. Vegeta's probably acting king. He's probably the sovereign.

He could have done a one man coronation. Not particularly fancy, but hey, you take what you can get.

To be fair to Chi-Chi, I'll add, I doubt she considered that Vegeta has the power to destroy the planet.

She rarely seems to do that though.

The only thing that had anything to do with what I said is you pointing out that Chichi barely interacted with Beerus (honestly I don't think she interacted with him at all, but I could be misremembering because I only remember the important parts... like the bingo dance), which is the absolute best case scenario.

Actually, there have been several moments in super where Chichi's act appeared to be just that: an act. For example, there was a point where Chichi pulled out her angry wife routine to hide information from Goku. There was another point where Goku acted contrary to Chichi and she threw a fit, but the moment he was out of sight she pulled a 180.

Well, Super does imply that Saiyan males have a fetish for strong-willed women, since Goku apparently likes Chichi like that; probably makes things interesting in bed really.
