Cancelled due to lack of interest

With connections to every universe deemed safe enough for travel (and, if you know where to look, a few that aren't), the Interdimensional Omniport or IOX is a very strange place to be.

All forms of high technology, magic, superpowers, supernatural ability, psychic powers, divine blessings and evil curses, and anything else you may find out in the many worlds of fiction work as advertised.

In theory. For safety reasons, the physics of IOX encourage an extreme case of Power Seep Power Creep and thus characters will quickly discover that they will have to rely on their skills and not their powers and tools when everyone and everything is at most a 3 on the Super Weight scale.

Okay, almost everyone and everything, because just like a typical airport, IOX has a security force to prevent "bad things going down" and objects being transported where they don't belong. This force is called the TVS or Trans-Versal Security. Led by a veteran of the now-defunct multiverse police force known as the Universe Preservation Agency (read: Time Police/Space Police for interdimensional travel), all TVS Security personnel have the ability to call on Quantum Algorithms (read: in-universe explanation for ret-con in case of a battle between super-powered individuals trashing the Omniport facilities) to break up fights and capture rule breakers (read: don't disobey the RP rules, etc.)

Actual RP Rules: This is freeform, so not much is banned, but all forum rules must be followed and intimacy/shipping is to be limited to romance as I will not allow blatant references to sexual activity. Characters can be original, self-inserts, canon or fanon.

Mary Sues will not be tolerated, but what constitutes a Mary Sue is only immediately obvious in this RP if something like nobody being able to land a hit on you occurs, so err on the side of caution if you don't want to waste everyone's time with a character you didn't realize was disallowed until several pages in.

Also, there are two types of "arrests" by the TVS. If I say you've broken a rule in <triangle tags> and you are no longer welcome, that's it for you and you should leave before you get reported. If, however, I say in {setmarks} you made your first accidental Mary Sue, then you can try once more with a new character. And if I say in (parentheses) that what you did is merely an in-universe illegal action, you have nothing to worry about except breaking your character out of holding for smuggling something or using a fake passport or whatever they did. :P

Finally, no using the exact same character as anyone else. HOWEVER, this being a crossroads for every universe out there, you CAN use a sufficiently different AU version of the same character; just don't complain about someone else using the original/AU counterpart to your character.

Character sheets will not be needed. Just make sure your character's name and home universe is mentioned in the first post, that they are consistent, and that they follow the rules both as a character and with their actions within the RP.
