I have no idea. I believe it was, in fact, my char who derped.
My char is complete noob in all thing Video-gamey, while all but Ranger/Monk in "real life". The correct way of handling wolves pack attack is to, basically, be loud and unafraid. Make them think you're too much trouble to be worth attacking.
In a game where one of the skills is basically "Shouting really loud is magic; attract enemies attention", it makes a certain amount of sense that doing so,even skill-less, would draw their aggro.

Well shit, I didn't know this was up. I don't have enough time right now to read all 42 posts, so I'll do that in a couple hours when I get back. But I thought I could ask now for when I finally read that - if anyone has an idea about where/if I can throw my dude into the game, that would be cool.
