Good call. I like the new pic.
I'm cool with it. As this is the Disney Princess page, it needed a swap for their redesigns anyway, and Merida will be joining in three days, so I'm fine. There is a watermark in the top left corner that should be removed, though.
Going to add her to the page as official. It's only three days, and I don't see the harm in it. Rapunzel was added as soon as she was announced, anyway, and merch has already been released under the franchise title.

It's still not showing up for me. I found the original
and have asked the artist for permission since it's watermarked with her dA handle and watermarked pics are one of those things that we can't use without permission. I've also commented out the pic and caption for the time being.
If we don't get permission, this

I checked, and it is specifically an image she made. I had previously assumed it was official stuff she tagged. If she doesn't reply, a similar image can be made.
I'm not a terribly big fan of that. The franchise now has redesigns for all of its main characters, and the page image should probably reflect that, and also because none of them ever look like that in the line-up anyway (Ariel in her sparkle gown, Aurora in blue, Jasmine in purple, Cinderella color-corrected to her original colors), and Rapunzel and Merida are clearly 'Shopped in. Plus it would look pretty small at wiki size.

I'm not really thrilled with it myself, but it's the only thing I could find that included Merida.
Well, she won't technically be in the line until her "coronation" in a couple of days. After that expect a slew of new images to be released with her on them. Same happened with Rapunzel.

The new image is very good and I certainly think this thread should give it a quick keep; however, I'm making this thread because the old one was IP-chosen and has the standard page tag, which was ignored.
That was the amazing part. Things just keep going.
