Most of those look like they were pictures taken in a studio anyway.
I cannot costumes anyway so I cannot talk about them.
To be fair to the series, everyone should be arrested for public indecency but then who is gonna stop them anyway?
"We are just like Irregular Data. And that applies to you too, Ri CO. And as for you, Player... your job is to correct Irregular Data."Started watching.
I could see the controversy in the first episode regarding the rape imagery, but given that it's a talking shirt, the ridiculousness of it is played up, and Ryuko is torn between her discomfort at what is happening to her and the incredulity of it that it comes off as funny rather than disconcerting.
Senketsu calms down a lot after episode 1, don't worry.
I sure said that!Still...
JUMP UP! Half naked! Good looking!
Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.Man, you ain't see nothing yet.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Eeyup. I finished watching recently and just finished reading the thread. I really enjoyed the show.
Speaking of Senketsu, as he's made using Ryuko's DNA, I suppose he could be considered her son, even if they didn't treat each other that way.
Imagine if Ryuko knew that.
Interesting fact: I saw an interview with Erica Mendez {Ryuko's dub voice actress}, and she says that she views Ryuko and Senketsu's relationship as a parental thing because of how Senketsu sometimes acts around her.

I think everyone kind of made that connection since it aired last year. Although Senketsu reminds me more of a nagging older brother.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.I got that attitude too. A cool older brother.
Senketsu is undoubtedly a surrogate paternal figure of sorts, though whether it's played totally straight or is more of a big bro-lil sis relationship is more up for debate.
I sure said that!Given the story, a father makes complete sense.
Kinda wish they delved more into that.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.It fits really well. After all, Ryuko has grown up in the end and really no longer needs a parent to protect her. I guess you could look at it that way too.
So she ends up losing two fathers? Rough.

At least Senketsu didn't use Ryuko as a pawn against Ragyo.
"We are just like Irregular Data. And that applies to you too, Ri CO. And as for you, Player... your job is to correct Irregular Data."Don't start this again.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does. Now I want to see a parody comic of the scene where Ryuko disowns Senketsu, but with her dialogue instead being the typical "Over-dramatic teenage girl hates her dad for dumb reasons" stuff.
"UGH, YOU'RE RUINING MY LIFE! I NEVER WANNA PUT YOU ON AGAIN!"
Hilariously, that's pretty much how it happened.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Well, Ryuko did make with senketsu in an episode but does KLK have angst?
"We are just like Irregular Data. And that applies to you too, Ri CO. And as for you, Player... your job is to correct Irregular Data."Does Ryuko's edge phase count?
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.I suppose so. Ryuko did go through her 'I am a monster' phase after discovering that she a Life Fiber/human hybrid.

Fair point. Excuse me, I should think more before I post on something I'm not all that familiar with, like the intricacies of cosplay.
I sure said that!
