People are thinking that Ryuuko is gonna take out a bunch of the 2 stars at once, either at the beginning or end of the next part.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gFmGNqji4u0I certainly don't see how the 2 stars are supposed to be a credible threat to her at this point. Hell, even the 3 stars will have to do some more work before I can buy them as in Ryuuko's league.
"Canada Day is over, and now begins the endless dark of the Canada Night."Yeah, it makes sense, because Ryuuko can curb-stomp any two stars, so it's likely they'll gang up against her in the 5th or 6th episode.
Well, you saw that guy with glasses, he stopped a berserker five-star with one strike. I guess the three stars won't use raw power like the two-stars and Satsuki, instead relying on strategy and mind tricks, I think (granted Ira's power seems to be raw power, but I think he's no dumbMuscle at all).

My work is here. Current main fic: Tengen Toppa Gurren SolverniaI think the star ranking is logarithmic, so who knows, three stars might pose a bit more threat.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Kamui are effectively 10 stars, remember. The gap between them and 3 stars should be significantly larger than the gap between 3 and 1 stars. And we saw how big that gap is.
"Canada Day is over, and now begins the endless dark of the Canada Night."
true. But given how a 3 star took out a 5 star, I think its implied theyre a lot like satsuki. theyre strong based on more than just the uniforms.
Thats probably why satsuki is flinging the 3 stars at ryuko. Ryuko is power without training. Those 4 can probably give her on the job training

A 5 star who had no idea what he was doing. Being charitable, we can say that he was half as strong as Ryuuko's non-super form.
Alternatively, we can look at it like this: Satsuki > 3 stars and Satsuki = Ryuuko, therefore Ryuuko > 3 stars.
"Canada Day is over, and now begins the endless dark of the Canada Night."Or, more likely, the Sewing Club will develop a method to safely produce 5-6 or even 6-7 star uniforms by the time Ryuko is done plowing through the 2 star fodder army, and the Elite Four will use those.
I've got new mythological machinery, and very handsome supernatural scenery. Goodfae: a mafia web serialI honestly wouldn't call Ryuko equal to Satsuki yet. While it's true that she was a lot more powerful once she bonded properly with Senketsu, the end of their battle in episode 3 was that she was able to force Satsuki back one single step. I'm sure they'll both keep getting stronger over the course of the series.
It's been fun.We have the trope Villain Forgot to Level Grind (and it happened with Viral, note ). Satsuki is a very smart person, I don't think she'll fall victim to it.

My work is here. Current main fic: Tengen Toppa Gurren SolverniaLet's hope, yeah. The thing with Viral is that he was self-assured right up until Lordgenome was killed, and then he had no real resources after that or purpose aside from helping villagers fight relocation if he happened to chance upon them. Satsuki has nothing but resources and purpose (even if it's vague and slightly condescending purpose so far), and I doubt she even knows the meaning of the word 'complacency'.

It's been fun.She knows the meaning, she hates everything it represents.
That's not completely true, Viral did come back with better robots!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gFmGNqji4u0This arc apparently ends at Episode 8. That's five episodes to obliterate the two-stars, take on the Four Kings, and/or have a rematch with Satsuki. Seems about right to me.
What's precedent ever done for us?Apparently Mako is gonna have a big moment in episode 7.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gFmGNqji4u0All right! Go Mako Go!
...I hope this doesn't mean we lose Mako. "Death" counts as a big moment, right?
i. hear. a. sound. If she does go, I hope she goes like Kamina.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel. So by episode 8 Ryuuko and Satsuki will be getting married...?
I'm reading this because it's interesting. I think. Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot, over.Episode 8... and who looks like Kamina in this series, hmm?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gFmGNqji4u0, Exactly.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Yes, but it's Mako that's serving Kamina's role of over-the-top cheerleader for the MC - she even had the Ep 3 "come up with a ridiculous bullshit solution that turns out to be exactly what needed to be done" moment paralleling Kamina's GATTAI!
Aikuro's probably safe, although he might be secretly evil.

"If there's a hole, it's a man's job to thrust into it!" — Ryoma Nagare, New Getter RoboAikuro's probably in more danger than Mako is.
"I'll show you fear, there is no hell, only darkness." My twitterdespite the differences,I still hope for awesome fights against the three-star quartet, especially Nonon(I have expectations for her because of her personality and being voiced by an awesome and underrated voice-actress.).
And nice that pre-orders are doing good.Japan still has some good taste.

Now, if he was a kindly mentor, sure. However, since his mission is to annoy Ryuko as much as tutor her, I suspect he will be here to stay.

KLK is officially the fifth better seller anime of this season, behind only the basketball anime (DVD and BD counted separetely) and IS 2 (again, DVD and BD sales counted apart)
