Now, now, toddlers, calm down. Or else you won't get your pools back.
it'll be in DLC within a few months, I'd put money on it.
I'm baaaaaaackIt's EA. They've probably already made the DLC, named it, packaged it, and only need to wait a few months.
Or you could get it now in exchange for your soul.

The most edgy person on the Internet. There is going to be a demo of the Create-A-Sim coming soon. Here's a FAQ for it.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."Huh, I did not know they were removing so much stuff. I thought it was just pools and toddlers.

... wow. They rely are taking like seventy steps backward.
If that CAS demo isn't of limited use, I may just stck with that and never buy the game.
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."If I'm honest, I'm not too bothered about the absence of create-a-style and pools. CASt I never really bothered with that much, and pools just end up killing my Sims. As long as the rest of the game is good, I'll be fine.
Direct all enquiries to Jamie B GoodI'd say the biggest thing they are removing here is the work and school lots. This feels like something that probably will not be added in an expansion pack.
EDIT: looking at the description for The Sims 4 on Origin, it includes careers in a list of things that are customizable. This might just be an oversight, but, do you think they're going to be overhauling the career system somehow?

"Monsters are tragic beings. They are born too tall, too strong, too heavy. They are not evil by choice. That is their tragedy."I wish people would stop saying that they're just dropping everything, or going backwards. For the most part, they're not removing things, they're changing them. They didn't drop the open world, they made a design choice to redesign the way the world work (and, IMHO, changed it for the better). The only things that have been out right "dropped" are swimming, toddlers, CASt (which didn't add much to begin with), and rabbitholes (which were widely disdained). In fact, they've added a lot more to the base game, with things like emotions, the new CAS, and travel. If you don't like the changes they're making, that's fine, say so, you have every right to be dissatisfied if you don't like how they're designing this game. But don't misrepresent the situation by claiming they're going miles and miles backwards. They're just going somewhere else
I'm sorry, I sounded pretty pissy there. All I mean is: Complain about what you don't like, but acknowledge the reality of the situation

With the removal of CASt will we still be able to make any clothing any color?
Probably not.
Honestly, I have mixed feelings on removing CAS. On the one hand, losing customization options obviously sucks. On the other hand, CAS also made a lot of the furniture kind of same-y, somehow. It was almost too flexible, you know?
What is a rabbit hole anyway?
"Monsters are tragic beings. They are born too tall, too strong, too heavy. They are not evil by choice. That is their tragedy."A lot that exists on the map that your sims can enter, but you can't see them when they do. Think shops or jobs in TS 3.
Thanks. I thought it was something where the outcome was randomized, or something like that. I was way off.
"Monsters are tragic beings. They are born too tall, too strong, too heavy. They are not evil by choice. That is their tragedy."They've announced that there'll be two Worlds in the base game: Willow Creek (based on New Orleans) and Oasis Springs (based on suburban Las Vegas)
Whoa. New Orleans and Las Vegas?
Those are both a pretty far cry from the standard Suburban Paradise the previous games have used.

"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."I'm okay with that, so long as they're big enough; filling up a large neighborhood with my Sims and their friends/rivals/mortal enemies is more fun than having a ton of smaller 'burgs.
I just hope they have proper apartment support in the base game.
Here's the first proper (beta) gameplay demo: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uN2ue9y7_2M
You know, I the "Dying of Laughter" thing is starting to look really annoying. I hope it's not as common as it's being portrayed in these videos.

"Monsters are tragic beings. They are born too tall, too strong, too heavy. They are not evil by choice. That is their tragedy."I didn't see anyone die of laughter in that one.
I mean, the Comic Scholar's beta gameplay video.
"Monsters are tragic beings. They are born too tall, too strong, too heavy. They are not evil by choice. That is their tragedy."It's probably this game's "rare hilarious death that you'll probably never get," like how in Sims 2 your Sims could get eaten alive by flies or in Sims 3 they could get hit by meteors.

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain. So, the Uncomfortable emotion is denoted by a stinky foot?
Yes. Could you repeat yourself?
