Man looking at various Disney theme park videos in YT and most are really saying how much troubling the parks are right now, or that they pulled questionable decisions lately.
Death is a companion. We should cherish Death as we cherish Life. This is what I'm seeing on my Twitter right now. What's going on?
If you haven't already, and still want to preserve a shred of innocence, don't look up the history of America Sings.

If I had a nickel for every film where Emma Stone falls off a balcony... I'd only have two nickels, but weird that there's two of them.I watch Defunctland, I already know about that horrific history.
Death is a companion. We should cherish Death as we cherish Life.On a more positive note about the Disney Theme Parks, I just remembered something funny. :) One time Walt Disney World had a short but funny series of commercials. There was this guy at the Magic Kingdom who was trying to ask Cinderella out on a date.
Flora is the most beautiful member of the Winx Club. :)Also part from what I gathered, a bunch of cast members were laid off due to union disputes with the parks (I forgot the term, but they're those "dynamic performers" that perform on the street). Like lurking puppeteers and such. Apparently the parks are downsizing them.
Death is a companion. We should cherish Death as we cherish Life.I used to think that Eureka! (2022) was canceled after its only season because of one of the main characters having two moms, but after learning about Production Lead Time (similar to The Owl House, now I conclude that the show just wasn't popular enough to warrant a second season. (At least as of this post's time)
If you play with fire, you're gonna get burned.A pretty good in-depth video on the creation of Mickey Mouse.
Also the story about Charles Mintz royally screwing up his negotiations with Walt Disney over the usage of Mickey Mouse is apparently false. The higher ups at Universal did that themselves.
If I had a nickel for every film where Emma Stone falls off a balcony... I'd only have two nickels, but weird that there's two of them.On the same night that I re-watched "Wreck-It Ralph" in 4K, I pretended that my OC was watching Ralph leave the party while he was ranting about getting a medal.
If you play with fire, you're gonna get burned.Didn't know Shrek 2 had a re-run, and outsold all the Pixar reruns of Soul, Luca and Turning Red
Death is a companion. We should cherish Death as we cherish Life.It turns out that the movie that made over $900 million dollars in its original run is popular.

De Romanīs, lingua Latina gloriosa non fuī.Also considered the best Shrek film in the franchise
New theme music also a boxSo in Turning Red, Ming Lee says "Blaming me" when she chases Mei around the arena, but according to the novels she actually says "Biting me" (in reference to Mei biting her hand a few minutes ago).
If you play with fire, you're gonna get burned.Probably doesn't help that the very first time I even heard of the Pixar rereleases... was hearing in this very thread that they flopped. I knew about Shrek 2 well beforehand because it got actual advertising.
Disney100 Marathon | DreamWorks MarathonSome arguments in the tweet don't make sense though, why people talk as though Shrek 2 isn't in streaming service for years.
Death is a companion. We should cherish Death as we cherish Life. Why I liked Mulan then: Action, funny and with a nice reminder to kids that war isn't fun or exciting like the soldiers thought.
Why I like it now: The same reasons...more so because of my newfound appreciation for Asian culture.
If you play with fire, you're gonna get burned. And for a deeper dive into the Asian culture depicted in Mulan:
Going back and watching some Darkwing Duck and Talespin for the fun of it.
Man, to be back in the 90's and have characters use realistic guns on kids tv.

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain. But you can't have the devil, of course... or mad bombers after Oklahoma City...

"They say I'm old fashioned, and live in the past, but sometimes I think progress progresses too fast."That reminds me...isn't there a lost episode of Talespin that involves Baloo transporting something that turns out to be a bomb? If I remember right, it's supposed to contain the scene from the opening where Baloo's in drag as a Carmen Miranda-style dancer.
There's 2 banned episodes of TaleSpin (neither of which I've seen): One where Baloo helps a Panda go back to their family, only for their entire community to be war-hungry monsters that Baloo has to stop (banned for intense Racist depictions of East-Asian peoples), and one where Baloo teaches Colonel Spigot (yes, that Colonel Spigot) how to fly, but not knowing Spigot needs to learn to fly to bomb the city Baloo lives in (and this episode was banned for its depiction of Terrorism). You are probably thinking of the latter episode.
Both those episodes are on the DVD series. The bomb episode is actually the series finale.
The Protomen enhanced my life.
Or if Shang had "looked down" when he grabbed Mulan by the shirt during I'll Make A Man Out Of You, the movie would have ended sooner.
If I had a nickel for every film where Emma Stone falls off a balcony... I'd only have two nickels, but weird that there's two of them.
