JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Abridged

I hope I'm not the only Troper that knows about this wonderful series.

Just to give newcomers a rundown, this is an an abridged series based around Jo Jos Bizarre Adventure . It's made by Antfish TAS.

I hope so goddamn hard that Diamond is Unbreakable/Not Crash gets adapted; I wanna see what Antfish can do with Okuyasu.

He'll probably make him a likeable greedy bastard. Look at Okuyasu, and hell, his stand; His design screams the greedy best friend.

The season involving Jotaro came first, actually. It's on his channel.

And yes, I've seen it, watched every episode. Hehehe XD

^ Phantom Blood and then Battle Tendency came first. The OVA adapted Part III because it's the most popular arc, for reasons which continually baffle the North American fanbase.

Not to say that Stardust Crusaders is meh, or anything; far fucking from it. It's just that it cannot possibly compare to Battle Tendency, where stakes were high, hearts were bold, men were real men, women were real women, and GERMAN SCIENCE WAS THE BEST IN THE WORLD~!

I dunno, I think Stardust Crusaders' massive popularity can be easily summarized as a combination of establishing Stands (aka the foundation that would truly separate it from being a mere copy of Fist Of The North Star) and the sheer memetic value behind everything Dio says and does.

Though I agree that Battle Tendency was a blast to read.

I liked Part II well enough. I liked everything that came after it more.

I can't decide which arc is my favourite, honestly. I mean, I love Battle Tendency, but Diamond is Not Crash/Unbreakable has most of my favourite characters and is the perfect high school AU without requiring the U to be A. And Steel Ball Run is... my god, artgasm. But Stardust Crusaders has the best fights, Phantom Blood has the best finale and the best villain, and Stone Ocean has the scariest SCIENCE! shit (yes, scarier than the Pillar Men) along with one of my all-time favourite Stands.

The only thing I know for certain is that Vento Aureo sucks harder than your mother when the rent is due.

Easily SBR for me; with Part II trailing not to far off behind.

Part V is probably my second favorite. If I had to rank them, it'd likely be: VII, V, VI, III, IV, II, I (VIII is unranked due to not being finished). IV is only above II because despite how many problems I had with the part, the Stands and encounters were brilliant.

Part IV marked the first time I felt like stopping since early on in Phantom Blood. Just saying. I actually kept going because I had heard the end of V was cuh-razy.

I did enjoy it in the end, though.

I would. It would be a trippy experience but hell if I came out healthier for it then why not?

That is my dream restaurant, are you kidding? The bare minimum I ask for in cuisine is that it fill my mouth with a pleasant taste and fill my guts with a satisfying weight; The Heavenly Place Which Shall Pass Unnamed is like the first time I sat in first class and learned of the glory that is the hot towel.
