Someone give that man a hand.
You gotta hand it to him though; he never lost the grip on the situation.
Big GrahEspecially such a disarming one.
Guys, we need to stop. These puns are getting out of hand.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!I'm sorry. I guess I just need to get a hand-le on things.
This keeps up we'll have more hand and arm puns than we can count on our fingers.
Oh, I'm certain that we'll reach that point quite handily.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!I'm not sure why Ymir didn't just say where they are going.
Because Isayama is too attached to his MYSTERY~ so he couldn't have them like....explain anything in order to convince people to cooperate.
Well that was one hell of a reveal. I'm the armoured titan, and that guy's the colossal titan. 3 years ago our plan of human extinction failed.
H.B. WardEverything would have went so much better had they just, y'know, grabbed Eren and jumped off the Wall, transforming the way down.

That's literally what they did.
PSN ID: FateSeraph | Switch friendcode: SW-0145-8835-0610 Congratulations! She/TheyHonestly, it would have gone better if they'd just knocked Eren out and tied him up to begin with. That's what you get for trying to be nice to your kidnapping victim, guys!
(Or, you know, done the same to Ymir so she couldn't take charge and force them to wait for the soldiers to catch up. That girl's thirst for Historia has pretty much screwed their whole grand escape.)
So I can't read Japanese but I'm pretty sure this says season 3 is coming next year. Fuck yeah! Hopefully it's a full 25 episodes.
Season 3 starting in 2018, no word on episode count. But yeah, here's hoping for two cour, I need to see the next two arcs in fully animated glory (w/o shitty CGI pls).

No, Reiner made a big speech and let everyone know what they were doing. Bertolt and Reiner were considered the prime suspects, but everyone was walking away until Reiner started talking.

Aaand time to watch the last lingering "Beast Titan is Grisha" theories die.
I love that they gave us battle music for the Big Gay Moment, and included both the epilogue scene in Shighanshina and a cameo of Mr. Beast Titan in human form.
Also, Funimation has posted a video announcing the 3rd season. It looks like it will indeed be a 2-cour!! And confirmed for 2018. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oCpa4UgHlgA
Very likely, they decided to go with a 1-cour this time around because it would suit the material better. This arc being stand-alone works very well, while it feels like the next two arcs work better as a pair.

At risk of sounding like a total creep, I am loving the random bits of fanservice we go this season.
Yep, good finale but kind of an awkward place to end it. This time didn't feel nearly as "final" as the end of the Female Titan arc.
Find the Light in the DarkThe only downside to getting it in 2018 is that we'll probably have to wait a few years for season 4. I don't think the manga will have enough material for another two cour season before 2019.

But we'll see as hell end on a POWERFUL note next season, that's for sure.
Seeing that we're getting another season, which the preview indicates will cover the next 2 arcs, I can understand their decision to only have 12 episodes this season. Ending here works better than having this arc and the next one, ending there. Because the next two arcs will go together much better to produce a whole product and a strong season finale.
The big question is how many arcs the manga has left, and whether Season 4 will be one or two cours.
(Also, will Reiner's actor be recovered in time to do recording?)
I don't know if the current manga arc works as its own season so I think making season 4 two cours is pretty much mandatory.
Interesting how they handled Hannes' death in the anime. The manga didn't even try to pretend he stood a chance, like "what else did you expect?", but the anime almost gives a tiny glimmer of hope before going "haha, just kidding." I guess Eren biting his hand was added to clarify that he couldn't transform at that moment, although it ends up being redundant with the end of Season 1.
Aye, they really let him go out showing his guts.
PSN ID: FateSeraph | Switch friendcode: SW-0145-8835-0610 Congratulations! She/TheyWhat's the explanation for Eren not transforming again? He looked fully healed to me.
It knew the risks.
