We've been talking about it in the Key VA thread. And yeah, it's good. The best parts are the bits that weren't touched by Key at all, really.
I would definitely recommend it, even for all the parts I didn't like.
It's like Fate Stay Night dressed up as a Key Visual Arts novel.
Amusingly it turns out one of the best date scenes of the game was written by a writer impersonating Key out of some sense of perhaps obligation. And one of the most action-oriented parts which I'd hold above most shounen was written in imitation of shounen.
Good characters, interesting and unique setting, great comedy and some new ideas. Possibly the best action effects ever in a visual novel too.
The routes vary quite widely in tone so there's almost certainly one you like. There's a route comparable to Unlimited Blade Works and I like the one comparable to H Eaven's Feel a lot better vioewed as an answer to Heaven's Feel
Endings are a significant part of the story for me though, and all Rewrite's were flawed.
I won't go into that for those who haven't read it though, and instead say that it is worth reading.

So this is getting an anime. By 8bit who did Grisaia.
Which means I now have a time limit to play the VN before the thing airs.
"And you must be Jonathan Joestar!" - SueMy hopes are low. If they try to adapt everything into a single consistent narrative I may have to fly to Japan to punch them.
Time for me to sit back and laugh at how many things it screws up, especially if it tries to combine the routes into one story.
A lot of the little details in the VN will also be lost, like the random npcs. It will be intersting if they manage to include any of the sidequests, especially the pokemon one.
Didn't see a discussion on this one. Admittedly I have not read it so I can't say much. However for those who have what do you think of it and would you reccommend it?
