new krypton. he got the nightwing god inside him and started rapid aging and hooked up with kara's friend flamebird. after she died turning the sun yellow again, he got stuck in the phantom zone as a kid again

Also, Supes... I don't care how good your intentions are, but finding a corpse, and dumping it on a guy's porch saying, "Hey, it's Superman. This is your great-great-great-great grandpa. I found him in a riverbed, and took him to the JLA satellite to check his DNA. Now you can bury him" is fucking creepy.

Basically the Kents went on a road trip and they met some family and had a barbecue. The family told a story about how this was the 100-something anniversary of the death of one of the family's ancestors, who was a union soldier and had drowned in a flash flood, his body never recovered. Every year they return to that spot to memorialize him and try to find the body. Later that night, Superman goes and flies into the river to find the body, which is now a skeleton, and drops it off on the picnic table outside the other family's RV, wrapped in an American flag with a note taped to it that said it's Ol' Grampy whatshisface
