The title confuses me. "Bravely Default II" only makes sense as a title if Bravely Second didn't exist.

From what I've been hearing this is more like the FF series where Bravely Second takes place in the same world as Bravely Defualt while Bravely Default 2 takes place in a whole new world with new characters and stuff.
Could deal with what a certain Fox goes on about the taking the world to the next level er "Layer" and their past unrelated to Luxendarc that was unexplored in Bravely Second.
Only their history as it related to the party in Second was revealed.

Nice! I loved BD BS and OPT, so this will be an instabuy for me. The trailer is not really much to go by and frankly the one thing that excites me the most is what crazy new jobs will be in this.
While I really liked BD and BS it won't be an instabuy for me.
Simply because I didn't really enjoy Octopath.
I really should go back to it, but at this point I've just done all the Chapter 1's
So I guess Bravely Second is now Brave of Memories and we should expect Brave by Sleep going forward.

The new Job designs are even further from typical old school Final Fantasy sensibilities. I'm really glad they didn't completely phone in the male White Mage design in particular, all 4 look pretty good.

Pretty much. They seem to be really into that in the Final Fantasy sphere lately. There's a bunch of Icelandic actors in XIV, too.

More and more reasons to get a switch, I guess. I finally found Bravely Second at a non-extortionary price, so finishing my second run of BD and getting started on that is on the queue. Not like there's no time for gaming nowadays.

Elvis' accent reminds me of Shrek. Also, he's clearly the best character in the game by virtue of being named Elvis.
