So it ends.

Rizumu just walks away satisfied. Showing he knows when to end the battle when it's truly lost.

Kuu-samas and Crowds coexist now. Weird seeing the Kuu's happily playing around with others.

Also man I was kinda hoping that it was Katze taking over Hajimes body at the end since she was weakened. I mean I won't complain that she's fine afterall but I was hoping he'd pull a fast one.

Also if they ever do have a third season I imagine it could have to deal with Gel not necessarily making the worlds he went to before as "One" considering how thoughtless his actions have been, as Berg has lead worlds to destruction so the aliens are likely not that different from earth. That or X thinks it over and that the world isn't updating enough for their liking.

Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.

They do need a Season 3. As Gatchaman had 3 series with different villains, first was Berg Katze then Gel Sadra.

So we need the Gatchaman series 3 villain Count Egobossler to show up in season 3.

Well, that's that for now.

I wonder what they would do for a Season three if it went that far.

Guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Hello?. Hey Guys...how is this series. Is worth watching?.

I already downloaded the first three chapters. I'll try this series, I heard very divisive comments about this series.

The most common opinion of this series is So Okay, It's Average...

Or just flat out hate. Just look the opinions of Perezoso Doom in Youtube (a anime reviewer, very extreme. He had a hate-festish with the Fate franchise).

[1]. I mean, i hate this guy and his reviews but...he use points to hate this series.

Well. Is hour, good luck.

[up] I want your opinions, you and i share similar mindsets sometimes.

Its got action, but that's not the primary idea behind it. It's more about tackling certain issues using unique angles (aliens and other stuff).

The main character is unconventional, and seems like she's in her own little world, but she's also the most clear headed person in the whole series.

I might not be giving it the best description though. See what others have to say....if anyone else pops in that is.

The show is unorthodox, yes. It abandoned its superhero action roots in favor of adopting an odd, colorful vehicle for social commentary. You'll be disappointed if you wanted your fix of fisticuffs and laser beams.

I'm in the camp that doesn't like it. The themes regarding the need for heroes and groupthink mentality are interesting and thought-provoking; however, the discussion of these topics are not. It's too... simplistic? Or bland? I'm not sure, but it sure as hell didn't resonate with me. Hajime is fun though.

Certainly unorthodox, but a fun ride through social commentary. Hajime is the best character.

It didn't exactly abandon its roots. It was just funded to be a name-drop to advertise the live-action Gatchaman movie. Ironically, the movie was panned and a flop, while Crowds turned a significant profit.

And Hajime is definitely the best character, along with Berg. Sticking them together for S2 was a stroke of genius. Uchida and Mamo's voice-acting was award-worthy, especially in the last episode.

I liking this series, i`ve heard who the last chapter has two version, the original and a Director's Cut.

Eh..someone has a link to dowload the Director's Cut in English Subs?. I like this series.

I don't think it would be legal to link, but just so you know you should watch the last episode and the director's cut episode, otherwise you'll miss some stuff.

So, after a long while of not watching anime (that began in the middle of this one's season), I've started up again, and now I've begun catching up on the ones I abandoned. Naturally, this one was one of the first, since Hajime is awesome.

One thing I really like is how it plays with Grey-and-Gray Morality. Even the characters who previously were villains get to play heroic parts. Okay, Katze got the crap beat out of him for being given the chance to do something, but Hajime got the same treatment. Which was one of my favourite parts of the season. That force of nature personality and determination.

Speaking of the previous villain, I like how he was incorporated into this season as well, both as a sounding board for Hajime, and the use of his powers. Not just forgotten about.

I also like the contrast from the first season. In light of that, the battle against atmosphere stands out even more, especially since the conclusion isn't that it's always bad, but can become bad once it starts to overtake people against their will.

I just finish binge watching (always a good sign). I have to agree that Hajime is the best, but I wish we heard her thought more. I preferred the first season over the second, for the usual reasons. It could have stood to be two cour, to allow it to go into more depth with the characters and the issues.

I hope there's a third season. Maybe it can be about regulation vs the free market,[lol]

Not quite! It almost has been for the original Gatchaman Crowds (Summer 2013), but Insight aired in Summer 2015.

I suppose Gatchaman would be a prime example of a modern anime trying too hard to update a Showa-era anime. If it gets to a point where it becomes so unrecognizable, then one might as well make a new show entirely.
