man he should've had like, an MP Valvrave or something

Also you know as bad as this show was I still hope for a sequel for some inexplicable reason and I think it's largely based on how cool the robots look. Also I want all the stuff in the flashforwards to make sense...plus, as annoying as Shoko could be, she's like 500x more interesting than the vast majority of mecha show protagonists, given that she actually /does/ stuff, so she could make for an interesting lead. This of course presumes that they'd use her as the protagonist and not introduce some /other/ bland milquetoast asshat who takes her valvrave.

(in addition we still need our shoko x akira come on that pairing is still entirely valid)

...and wait, who the hell is that L-Elf looking kid anyway? Is it ever explained what his deal is?

Why do you fight? Why do you exist?

[up] supposedly, the director said on twitter that the kid is "whoever you want him to be", which translated means "we don't have the slightest clue either, because we were planning the series episode by episode, so your guesses are as good as ours, and please send them on a postcard in case they pay us for an OVA or a third season".

Weren't they going to make a manga about the time skip with Saki as the protagonist? What happened to that?

Q-Vier would have been happy regardless of who killed him as long as they put up a fight. He's just that sort of psycho. I don't see a lot of ways to avoid him feeling satisfied even as he dies, other than using poison gas while he sleeps or something of that sort.

[up][up]As for the Prince from the future...honestly, it's obvious he's just a Nth generation descendant of L-Elf. I don't think they actually needed to spell the details out or anything like that. His role was simply to learn about the past in an epilogue. The rest is trivia.

[up]There's a manga about Saki, but I don't think it has covered any future events so far.

I also find it funny that it's the villain who gets the ultimate Valvrave while the hero gets what... a heat dispersing backpack and mecha birds? Cain's fully built Valvrave is without a doubt, the coolest one in the lot. I only wished they could've showcased how much ass he can kick in that sleek gear of his by knocking out Akira, Saki, A-Drei, X-Enis, and Haruto.

How did Haruto/L-Elf actually win anyway? I refuse to believe that their combined abilities were enough to take out a guy who, time and again, has kicked L-Elf's ass and is a more experienced Magius with more Rune resources than Haruto.

[up][up]Haruto apparently disabled the limiter. Knowing it was stupid and would get him killed. Still won by the skin of his teeth anyway.

He used the Valvrave Finger, duh. How can a Burning Finger that also eats your brain not defeat any bad guy?
