Maybe they knew someone who got blinded by glare off something and had a car accident, and made the association. *shrug*
I really like 17.1.
Yeah, it's a bad name, so we can put it on the TRS backlog and deal with that somewhere in 2014. In the meantime, what about the image?
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight!I like 17.1 as well. I could get some good screens of another example, but I don't think they'd be better.
Check out my fanfiction!I'll support 17.1 as well, even if it would be replacing my own image. At least we can keep the caption.
A couple more votes for 17.1 and we can run with it.
Bump; anyone else?
Here's 17.1 at 300.
Looks good.
Bigotry will NEVER be welcome on TV Tropes.darn, I was hoping this topic would have been forgotten, just so I could keep my picture up. >_>
Nah, really, 17.1 is fine. I say we keep the current caption though.
This one's gathered enough dust. 17.1 is up and the tag's adjusted. I don't mind the current caption, but without the girl actually messing with her hair it doesn't make as much sense. Any ideas on a tweak?
hmmm. How about "She doesn't need wax to get it that shiny. It just comes that way."
"Her eyes are the windows of her soul. Her forehead is the mirror of everyone else's."

Also, you can pothole Curtains Match the Windows to that.

Bump; any other thoughts?
Hearing nothing, I've culled the old caption for not fitting the new pic. I haven't added either suggestion since there's not enough consensus. Locking up.
And we need a sense of ominousness in a comedy trope...why?
Also, do we have the similar trope for shiny bald heads? I know that one comes up a lot.
Belief or disbelief rests with you.
