To be honest I kind of felt the twist that it was Fitz himself the whole time, kinda lame. Only because I saw it coming 5 minutes into the episode.

Is it wrong that I snickered a bit when Fitz injected Daisy in the butt after operating on her head?

Clark Greg to appear in upcoming Captain Marvel movie. I mean, this is cool and all, but I'd prefer him to appear in a marvel movie set in present time instead of one set decades in the past.

At least the movies remember Coulson now.

So he can appear before he 'died' which makes sense.

Btw, what was the deal with May telling Ivanov he is 'Just another russian trying to infiltrate our democracy'? I mean yes, I get that they are possibly referring to the Trump election tampering, but was that really necessary? It made her look a little racist.

It was definitely a reference to the Russians meddling in the 2016 election to get Trump elected.

Still quite inappropriate. Especially when coming from somebody who is part of a minority herself.

Were you not paying attention to the blatant pot shots the Agents of Hydra arc took last season? I think this line was fairly tame compared to those.

I'm sure they knew each other by reputation if not through passing in the hall or being teamed up on missions

I found some wiki mention that they were actually friends, but I couldn't find any concrete mention of that on-screen.

Didn't Coulson say May had the highest marks since Romanoff in Season 1?

That would be like holding a grudge against T'Challa because of Killmonger's actions.

This last season seems like it's going to be a reunion tour of sorts

I'll be surprised if Natasha had any friends outside of Clint in SHIELD. Especially after the role she played in getting them burned.

One conversation I always wanted was Coulsen and Captain America's friendship breaking. The latter really-really wishing SHIELD had stayed dead.

Those potshots were, "HYDRA are Nazi's, did you know that Nazis are bad!?" and, "FOX News is evil!" Obnoxious, but not exactly wrong.

This potshot was, "he's Russian and he's a jerk, he must be like those other Russian jerks who interfered in our democracy!"

Um, I'd still like to point out that the person she is talking about ISN'T just some random Russian guy. He IS a Black Ops Government Agent.

Besides, its not really racist. That's... not the right term for starters but I don't have the time or pateince to dig deeper than that.
