What trope? I mean, yeah, her main storyline was about her parents. What does this have to do with her gender?
And if I claim to be a wise man, well, it surely means that I don't know.nothing, just saying the trope have right in a very techincal sense in that Skye arc is tie to her parent at all.
"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"@12396: You'd be surprised how many people that would consider that fanservice.
Trump delenda estI was being facetious and I didn't put a Sarcasm or Humor Mode tag on it out of laziness. I apologize.

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!My apologies.
The mid-season premiere is called "Bouncing Back" and the synopsis says it will have another group of Inhumans.
By the title of the episode alone I think it's safe to say we will be seeing the debut of yo yo Rodriguez. This should be good.

Tis the great art of life to manage well The restless mindSo, finally another episode for me, let see:
Ok, it look like I miss something because aparanly Andrew is lash/the monster? but wasnt he killed by ward? can somebody tell what happen? ayway that is another thing in the list ward failed.
-So far we actually star we him taking with another head(Malick) the guy seen another whiteman or just the typical "manipulative bastard who dosent afraid of anything" after seen lionel luthor, nothing impress me anymore.
-Yeah, finally we see Ward tacking someone, I meant sure is just mooks but hey a competent douche is better than just a petty douche, so I will take it
-Ward being pyromaniac? meh, that sound like bullshit in order to intimidate everyone into speaking, but anyway, point for being a pro-active villian.
-So coulson wants her not-girlfriend being around? that is nice....Mack(I think that was his name) dosent seen so sure.
-Ok, moving somewhat forward is intersting to see hunter as british hipster and mai with...that guy whatever he is(sorry I miss a lot of episode so I need to get around the change and chararters) I remain me of the first season with Coulson and Mai infiltrating Hydra or Skye in quil mansion.
-Wait.....Jenna is bad because Fitz is actually a nice guy trying to help him? ohhh so she is mad because he is not mad....got it....also I think Fitz become a little bit meta with the "the cosmos is keping us apart"
-Also, I have to said I enjoy a lot Coulson and...this women(damn I really need to learn the names) they really have chemestry around, even their fight sound realistic.
-So...aparenly Hydra is around, pulling the same shit they did with Shield(they are very good at it for what I seen) and aparenly they are not just a bunch of Neo-nazis but a weird cthulhu cult?....sure why not.
-And finally Ward make one of his biggest dick move...and is around someone else couple....I fear that is the reason the writers didnt give Skye a romantic interest because otherwise Ward would off them, nevertheless I enjoy the episode and how Ward regain his villian mojo....well, kind of.
"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"I thought the show was back on air for a second.
Yeah, I lost cable for a while and for what I see, I miss that, good thing I dont care for spoilers so....
"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"They've cast Natalia Cordova-Buckley as Slingshot. It looks like they've also modified her name from Yolanda Rodriguez to Elena Rodriguez.
Whoa, that was super-ninja'd.

Tis the great art of life to manage well The restless mindWell, I saw the next episode after that, let see:
-Aparenly Rosaline die thanks to Ward...and I lose that scene, Damn it! anyway a this point I belive Ward have the superpower of killing every couple he see....spiderman should be very afraid of him.
-So it seen this episode is pretty much a study of Grand ward as chararter, the good, the bad and the ugly on him, let star:
The good: I like the interview of the team about him, the idea he try to replace something he lost or how he look fitz mother and Skye pretty much said sumary of Ward good quialities, is not much but it is something.
The bad: but moments latter when Ward speak to his brother he finally get his start of Darkness: aparenly once he push his little brother he devopt this weird need to be a hero to any means necesary(something of course Garret exploit) and is clear Ward killing his shitty parents where pure vengance, as far he can tell, hurting people is "justice" which made pretty funny the rest of the episode.
The ugly: the scene where Ward just wait while Hydra is torting Jenma and Fitz, he dosent feel anything because of course he will never harm them, as long everything goes with his narrative is OK, Ward is almost a desconstrution of Designate hero......
BUT, as everything about Ward is said, in the end he is kind of right about something: Coulson pretty much goes balistic after someone hurt him, he decide to punish Ward against all logic, and the only reason they find him is tbecause they used his favorite tactic against him(this is the funny thing I mention early:for all Ward babbling about him and Coulson being not so diferent, he SHOULD see that comming) on the other Grant managed to FINALLY get over his revenge to put Hydra Ideals first and foremost, so he kind switch place with Coulson.....now That is intersting.
"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"Absorbing man will return in the upcoming episode.
Tis the great art of life to manage well The restless mindYes!!!!!! Along with Donnie Gill and the Gravitonium, he is one of the three storylines I want the show to pick up again. Plus, the character was very memorable for a brainwashed Hydra-henchman.
I really want Absorbing Man and/or Blizzard to show up, survive, and then end up as part of the Masters of Evil in an Avengers movie.
I suspect the writers may have forgotten about Graviton and the evil-Tony-Stark-wannabe from Season 1.

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Wouldn't bet on it. They didn't forget about Randall either after all.
Ah yes Ian Quin. I wonder if they'll bring him back soon. If they do bring him back will they ever reintroduce the centipede program? And I'm too sure about Donnie Gill, but who knows at this point.
Tis the great art of life to manage well The restless mindactually....what the hell happen with him?
"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"Quinn? He escaped with the Graviton. Donnie Gill? Sunk to the bottom of the ocean.

Mayb is somewhat fan service, the beautifull and lethal, while not sexual, is have the same feeling of Trinity, the "look but dont touch"
And in a way the trope is right, Skye conflict was about their parents(or more correctly, their heritage as inhumans)
