I remember playing this when it came out, 2013. Was barebones back then. Did it just explode in popularity or something?

[up]From there to then, you can say that Warframe is an entirely new game.

It progressively won more popularity, yes. I think at the moment it's in the top 10 of the Twitch's viewership per game and top 10 of the most played Steam games.

It changed a lot since it's release.

There's a whole lot of 2.0s between 2013 and now :P

You don't have to equip basic warframe abilities anymore :D

And what about the entire damage system changing?

Or the players not being a floating Warframe in space in between missions?

Looking back, it's vertigo-inducing how far along we got!

I've only joined after the Once Awake intro quest existed, so I've always had a Liset/Orbiter to occupy. Do you have a screencap on hand of just floating in space as a warframe between mission? Because that sounds hilarious.

Huh. Truly space ninja is an apt descriptor for warframes.

Having to equip mods for abilities was probably the most annoying part of warframe, specially since you saw some abilities being worthless or not worthy to use and simply ditched the slot for another stance as soon as possible.

That's about two high-level exterminates, or one-and-a-half Sortie ones.

Pretty much, considering i just got a pistol riven with that requirement from today's sortie and I've already killed 130 during a 10 min survival...I could've done more had I solo'd it...

We got to the point where I'm losing track of the Eidolon we brought down, so I feel like we're getting good at this.

At the moment I have developed Oberon into a serviceable Lureman: With Narrow Minded, I can reliably bring the Lures in and out of Teralysts' range. The only issue at this point is to bring down the Teralyst's shield.

All this to say, if anyone is interested in joining an Eidolon hunt, try to look at the clan chat every so often, we get on irregularly but we've grouped up successfully a few times already and it went pretty well.

I guess it'd make sense for a simple requirement to lead to a weapon I DON'T EVEN USE!!!!

Stupid Afuris...

That is the whole beauty of Rivens.

It is never for a weapon you like or use often. I mean the best one I got was a really good one for my Lanka but using Snipers isn't very viable anyway.

Untrue. I have a great riven for my twin grakatas.

.....that I can't use, because they're MR 13. :(

[up][up] Don't throw that one away: Lanka is one of the best Teralyst killer at the moment.

PHEW. The final fight in the Sands of Inaros quest was ROUGH. Thank you, hard2get777, for your invaluable assistance. I'll be putting sand in people's shorts by Wednesday.

....am i just using her wrong, or is Mirage kinda shit? Hall of Mirrors doesn't seem to do any more actual damage, Sleight of Hand doesn't seem to do a damn thing, Eclipse is kinda helpful if you can figure out if you're in light or dark (and that augment isn't much help; thanks to this game's shaky concept of distance, unless the team is clumped together I'm not helping them) Prism looks cool, but accurate it ain't.........Mirage wants to be David Copperfield, and she's barely Waldo the Magnificent.*

Big selling point of Mirage was to pick non-hitscan bullet hose gun and fill direction of your choice with bullets. Since it was a slog for lower end machines to handle, it got changed to only two copies being able to shoot.

So she was good at some point. Eh, the perils of discovering a great game that’s been out for a while.

In other news, this game FINALLY gave me a certain set of neuroptics, so I’ll have Vauban by Wednesday as well. He better have been worth the wait.
