Warframe: F2P co-op Guyvering

Question: did anyone else notice a distinct lack of small life support capsule drops in today's Sortie 3?

Dunno, I, just like Marc, intend to cash on first day boost. Talking about boosts, teammates give some little extra to credit rewards so 160k isn't even all that can be squeezed out.

A-khem, 400k with three people squad.

Also, I wanted to check riven prices. How much could I get for Latron, Tonkor and Twin Rogga rivens? All unrolled.

I had 400K too with only two of us in the last Sortie.

Didn't have issues with air tho. What I did experience was Vex armor's bug where your damage boost loops all the way back to dealing 0 damage. So that wasn't pleasant in the least.

Also, usually Rivens mods can go for 60-80 plat when unrolled with undesirable stats. That's more or less the ballpark of plat I got from the few I bothered to trade.

You guys catch the latest Prime Time? Oberon's finally getting a rework.

I think it looks really good. Hallowed Ground in particular looks great for CC.

I'm not sold, it doesn't address the core issues of his kit. These issues being:

• No one wants to sit on Hallowed Ground for the buffs.
• Renewal stops healing if you max out your health.

Reckoning is sort of generic, but I figure it isn't an issue they had set out to fix since it's a superficial rework.

Reckoning falls in the same disdain bucket of mine where Volt's and Mag's ultimates (don't even remeber their names) rest. Poke whole map with no genuine interactivity is the dullest combat mechanic I've seen in gaming. I really wish DE's reworks would completely replace those abilities. And what Marc said - would be nice to see touchups on those two.

On brighter side, I have only 1k mutagen samples left to start Hema research and I should be done this weekend. And when I say 1k, I mean exact 1000 samples. It ended on round number last contribution by complete coincidence. #oddlysatisfying

Their the artifacts of a dark era where ultimates were all just a different variant of overkill. Even nowadays I find that "weapons" ultimate are a bit prevalent... they do seem to like reusing ideas eh. I'm afraid that if they don't take the occasion to change it now, they never will.

As for Hema, god speed! I actually like the weapon, believe it or not. It goes just fine with super-tank Chroma and I love the firing SFX.

Still better than Migrania and Limbo's "ya'll be playin' melee now". It's like DE saw complaints about Ember and Miramulor and were like: "Hold my beer!"

That is still better than Mag's "kill everyone and drag the loot from their corpses back to her lazy ass with one skill".

And then DE said "hold my bourbon".

I am still fond of my Volt P. using Overcharge to stunlock + speed and Galatine P. with a Namaron to kill everything in the room.

Or Namaron + Excalibur exalted blade to kill everything in the room and the next one too.

I'm reminded of times long ago, after duration was made to affect channeled abilities, when I argued with raging nerfphobic. He, like many likeminded posters, dismissed every argument and exclaimed that he'd wish for abilities to actually give instead of deplete energy. I thought it was absurd statement and moved on. But now it's right in my mind whenever I think about Octavia, because her passive is exactly that. Talk about powercreep.

My "favorite" is anything that the discussion of "exclusive" items comes up and people get up in arms about something like the syndicate syandanas.

It's really difficult to have a rational discussion when people give in to their inner I want everything and I want it now little demon.

Just now I have encountered another individual salty about Excalibur Prime... I get it, you want the shiny, but don't give me the bullshit that it's purely superior to Excalibur and should be made available for that reason.

I agree with that and that it was a Founder's exclusive thing anyway.

I want Excal Prime, but I understand why it's not available, and frankly I don't care enough about it to do something.

I feel like I should really put my chroma to good use. Then again, my Rhino Prime is my main unless I want to bring out one of my others

Ice Chroma's pretty fun. A lot more tanky than Rhino.

Chroma is fun as far as you like unkillable self-buff monsters.

This is exactly the sort of thing I like from a Frame so it's perfect for me, but your mileage may vary.

His 1 can be disregarded for anything except latchers, maggots and rat bots. His 4 can be decent in zone control, but you need to tailor your build for the purpose otherwise you just risk not having energy for the real important skills (2 and 3).

grinding out saryn parts is why I don't have chroma, hahaha.

Finally got to try out the new Oberon rework. It has room for improvement, but it's genuinely made him a much better frame.

Smite is a pretty decent CC ability, and it's really good vs single targets, but the damage scaling isn't all that great in a crowd. Rad procs on everything is pretty nice.

Hallowed Ground is still stationary, but has a much larger default range, and has a lot more width too. Still love the status healing, not sure how to feel about the 'synergy' with Renewal. Feel like the new visuals could have been done better, to make the radius of the ability more obvious, but it's not terribly difficult to do so atm.

Love the new Renewal overall. Energy drain is pretty hefty, but it makes Oberon a pretty potent support frame. The constant healing really helps him become more tanky, while keeping allies alive and preventing them from bleeding out. Worked really, really well in the Design Council Alert today.

Reckoning is... better than it was? It's pretty much the same ability, minus the 30% armor reduction when enemies are on Hallowed Ground, which is nice, I suppose. Decent CC thanks to the stun and rad proc, but not much else to say about it.
