Is there any indication that the Quanta Vandal is even worth it and what the heck is this?

I've seen people do devastating damage with a standard Quanta, so I imagine an amped-up event reward is worth it, yeah, and we were initially discussing the relative sexiness of Warframes(the suits at least, I can't imagine the people underneath being very pretty anymore) and that kinda transferred into relative sizes.

....

Does anyone else have joke ships between the frames?

ie, Valkyr and Rhino, Mag and Volt, Chroma and Ember, etc

Honestly... never thought about it. Some time ago I had idly considered a series of short stories that delved into the personalities and backstories of the Tenno before they became Tenno, and a few of them sort of precluded shippng, jokey or otherwise. Like thinking of Rhino as a family man(Since his powerset is actually super useful in supporting, so I kind of imagined that came from trying to save his family from whatever turned him into Rhino in the first place) who's rather... upset that the Orokins basically turned him into a gun. But I absolutely am willing to ship him with Loki anyways because Loki is the boyfriend's main

Most of the Tenno are so outwardly psycho and individual, both thematically and in nature, that it's difficult to imagine them getting along with... anyone, kinda. Though I could see stuff like a Banshee/Mesa Camping Trip, or Nekros and Ember as Murder buddies.

What about, say, Vauban, Nyx, and Loki as Team Troll?

Loki I can see as Troll, but Nyx I imagined more as a sort of bemused, maybe vaguely cruel hang-back-and-watch-the-fun type, rather than a 'fuck-with-you-and-laugh' type.

Vauban just wants to fuck you up in a way that happens to occasionally be humorous.

but HOW?

Can never have too many Formas. They're always useful for something. If it's not polarizing a weapon, then it's to build one.

On another note, a few days ago, I ended up doing my first Uranus Archwing Interception mission with an organized group, and we ended up discovering a really amazing strategy to make it really easy to win each wave.

This tactic requires a full group to work. What you need to do is to go and capture every towers simultaneously. Once that is done, the AI will focus all its forces on a single tower. When that happens, everyone in the team should go for that tower and keep fighting the enemies until the tower ends up being captured(it kinda eventually happens due to so many enemies and potentially missing the one doing the capture).

When the enemy captures a tower, it will then starts to focus completely on another tower. As it does that, quickly recapture the first tower taken, then go for the next tower the AI is going for, and repeat the process from there on.

When we discovered that trick, we ended up clearing a wave really fast, a lot faster than what we first tried.

[up] are compleatly sure it works like that?, 'cus i've played a few archwingceptions (both on earth and in uranus), and while enemies may focus more on one or two nodes (usually those two that are close to each other and near the center of the map) i always see enemies going off to the other nodes too, which could get them more than one node if everyone is guarding a single node.

Believe it or not but farming the void left me with an overabundance of both Forma and Ducats.

Guys, I think DE heard all the joking about Baro selling Primed Ammo Drum. He's on Kronia and he's selling:

  1. Primed Slip Magazine
  2. Prisma Daedalus Chest Plate
  3. Voltaic Strike
1 and 2 are shizen, 3 is nice.

[up][up][up]Well usually when I run the Archwing Interception on Earth, they do that kind of behavior you mentioned, and thus apply that strategy you spoke of.

But on the Interception mission on Uranus, the AI seems to behave differently from what I saw, not to mention that it spawns way more many enemies than on the Earth mission. That tactic I ended up finding about worked on two waves when we tried it. But I hadn't tried the mission again to test the tactic again.

Just think of that 55-60% clip ammo increase.

Which doesn't translate into any more ammo overall.

Eeeeeeeeh, I want to get it just for collection purposes, but I have few enough Ducats that I'm gonna prioritize Voltaic Strike. And the Chestpiece. I might have some keys I can use to get some stuff, but I'm not sure if I'll have the time this weekend, so if not? eh, I can live without it.

True enough.

I'd very much like to see point blank cycled back in, since I missed that the first go-round.

So...when are we gonna start researching another color? We finished researching Dust Brown(from Corrupted Lancers) for quite a while now. What should we research next for colors?

Sand Yellow from Scorpions? Oak Brown from Butchers? Autumn Brown from Corrupted Moas? Night Blue from Vay Hek Terra Frame? Or Leaf Red from the Stalker?

I can't really make the choice since I obviously don't have proper authorization in the clan. But thought the rest of you should be notified.

I don't really have any targeted pigments I want research personally, but I guess we can start some random ones.

[up]You too munching on other games and stuff in general. I finally figured how to patch my Europa Universalis and... Yeah, Warframe ain't overly eventfull lately. Even big update 16 wasn't much. At least for me since Pv P and raids got nothing for my soloer ass and Simaris is only small side distraction. Bursa event was pretty eeeeh and while recent weapons in form of Tonkor and Quanta Vandal are cool, they don't exactly inspire me to come up with super vulgarities just to describe how much I love them. It's so bad I can't read any post here without thinking poster was half asleep when writing. Like I am now.

I actually wanted to post something of worth, like comments on Caelus strategies and something about "what are Tenno under their suits" but... maybie tomorrow.

Oh right, I promised to post Caelus strategy. Allright, here it goes: pick Itzal. You welcome.

Anyhow, if anyone is watching devstream, take note if devs talk about movement physics. As in cleaning code from unwanted glitches. Bunch of new movement options and retooled tiles won't do much if movement stays glitchfest.

Do you mean WATO and copter?

As far as I know they said nothing about it on the stream and in the past they expressed the will to keep these ascended glitches (and maybe nerf them if appropriate).

Coptering can get excessive at times. Like, launching across continents.

WATO = Wall Assisted Take-Off. Basically if you initiate a wallrun and interrupt it right away it throws you a great distance away.
