Shoot me, but I sold Scoliac and kept Lecta. I didn't even care about stats. Scoliac... its supposedly badass look just didn't work for me. Just... thing... that is whip shaped and... shut up... sort of biological. Lecta however looks up to my alley and doesn't do bad damage. Not top tier but enough for fun.

No, I don't enjoy view. Now go in corner and feel bad about it!

Oh, and it's update time tomorrow (At laest for me. Dunno about you). My usual attitude would be: Oh look, new shine... and I won't thank you... and glitter. But this time there are so many UI improvements to expect. Totally syked.

Why thank you, Lotus, for useful alert notification. Some folks here could learn from you.

And about to grab my kubrow. With all the positive vibes and sqeeing I hear about them, there is only one smart thing to do: lower my expectations.

You are very pessimistic, Prany.

Can we all agree that the Tysis is crap, though?

Dark Sector and you.

Informative 'blog' post of DE_Adam about Dark Sector PVP.

Might interest one or two of you.

Hotfix 14.0.8

See post for fixes, which varies wildly and are pretty numerous.

Money quote (pay attention Corr!):

Changes in location of Prosecutors is live on Ceres, this was not explicitly called out in full on Update 14 but has been live since then. Endless mission types like Survival and Defense will now guarantee you Delta Beacons. Gamma, Omega, and Kappa Beacons can be found on Prosecutors on the non-endless mission types.

So indeed, you couldn't find Kappas. You were actually physically unable to, if you were in "endless" modes.

[up] well that's anoying, defence used to make beacon farming bearable, i hope that at least means prosecutors will be droping more not-delta beacons per drop, and that kappas have a better drop chance; 'cus really making beacons even more anoying to get is NOT a good idea.

Yep. But Kappa's also sparingly dropping regardless, since I only get one Prosecutor per mission (if I'm lucky!) and there's only a 1 in 3 chance of dropping a Kappa.

What makes it even weirder is that yesterday Marvon and I did a Survival and got non-Delta beacons. I remember because we were both specifically looking for Deltas and only got two out of about 6 Prosecutors killed. The rest were the other types. It either was a bug or DE is BS'ing about it being that way since the update dropped.

[up]Yep, in one fell swoop DE has turned Deltas from the rarest beacon to the most common one, without changing the blueprints to match. Typical.

DE is bad about balancing Item Rarities

Imagine being in a world where it's easier to find titanium alloys than toilet paper.

[up] don't forget random growths of freaky mutated tissue... in crates, boxes and lockers, 'cus as everyone knows, ppl keep tumors in lockers.

[up][up] deltas were the rarest for you?, that's weird, deltas never seemed rare to me, i always had trouble getting kappas though.

BTW, sent you a new invite Stevebat.

As for the Prosecutors, are they still as easy as they used to be to cut in pieces? If you can reliably cut them, a Nekros would be very advantageous with desecrate.

[up][up]Look at the blueprints. You only need two Deltas for the triangulator. On top of that, I've seen a lot of people complaining about the Delta drop rates. It was actually adjusted in a patch a few weeks (or perhaps months?) back.

[up]I've tried to cut them into pieces, though I suppose it's possible I'm simply missing them somehow. Unstanced Nikana doesn't have a whole lot of vertical slices.

[up]i know you don't need many deltas, but that didn't stop them from droping by the truck loads when i farmed beacons in ceres defence.

So what is a good place to farm mods these days with an average set of gear?

[up][up][up] about 3 weeks BEFORE U14, and deltas were dropping a lot, in fact all beacons were, except kappas.

[up]hobbled is anoying indeed, rhino is actually pretty good at making it bearable though, charge has a set speed value that isn't linked to your actual movement speed, so it's not affected by the hobbled key, volt's speed IS affected by it though, ain't it ironic?.

I don't really do any damage past enemy level 25 anyway, so I just us Trinity in case of heals. Not having serration or multishot probably affects your dps horribly.

Depends on the mods you want. Since each mods are only dropped by a certain type of enemy, you'll have to find mission where they spawn often to farm them.

If you just want mod in general to use as fusion fodder, however, you could try survival. Gives a steady stream of baddies to cut in pieces. I think Mobile Defenses aren't bad either, since they throw a fair amount of bad guys your way, but they don't get harder as they do in Survival. Can't recommend a planet in particular, tho. I don't know them off the top of my head.

Did a but run of void runs today with people from my guild. Much profit. Although it made me feel insignificant when I do no damage and they kill each of Lephantis's phases in less then 20 seconds.

On PC DE are fidling with Lephantis's level so everyone on PS 4 should milk him for all his worth. Just in case.

Talking about specific enemy farming, where the fuck are leech ospreys? I was on Mars yesterday and not a single one showed up even after 30 minutes.

Try higher levels, like on pluto or something.

Going after the Glaive stance, I take it?

I'm not exactly sweating for it, but at least a chance would be preferable.

And why Mars for leech ospreys if it's too low level for them to spawn there?

And holy drill, Omega, how come you so manly all of a sudden?

Jus t a quick question, are the Kunai and Seer any good in U13/14? Because I'm debating selling them for more room in my inventory.
