Well, Alert missions have proven lucrative for me. I've gotten a Jaw Sword, an Energy Siphon and a Rifle Scavenger all in quick succession. I really want the Plasma Sword, though.

I'm still waiting on Vauban parts.

I wouldn't hold my breath on those.

Vauban looks great and all, but I'll just mind other stuff until I find all three parts by blissful luck.

Finally got the Rhino helm to drop and have my Excalibur at the point where I can chip away at the Rubedo reguirement. Unfortunately the boss mats will require me to actually get good at the game or find a decent party.

[up][up]Oh, I'm not sitting here twiddling my thumbs or anything. But they said the parts would be less rare than orokin stuff, and I've seen a fair bit of orokin stuff since I started. So yeah, some Vauban parts showing up would be great.

Me too. Of course, I already had one. Now I'm just waiting on the helmet.

You guys are aware Vauban parts show up through the alert system, right? Not the way Banshee parts do?

So I started playing this game on Friday while waiting for a couple of friends to show up, just planning on passing the time and stopping when they arrived.

Fast forward to Saturday night and 7 of us were cooped up on my basement all playing Warframe. And one more person was playing from a distance.

Twas a wild weekend.

So I just discovered that Vauban can attach his turrets to other players, thereby making them mobile engines of destruction.

Man, I want some Vauban parts.

Nice name, thanks for the invite.

Also I hate infection, my assault rifle can't do jack vs the healing ones.

Get fire mods and equip them on your rifle, that'll help. And aim for the Ancient's legs, more precisely the right one. It's their weak spot you see.

Aye saw that earlier in the thread, whats the best way to get said fire mods?

QuestionMarc Since: Oct, 2011 Relationship Status: Having tea with Cthulhu

The Corpus is said to drop those kind of mods more often, but if you are able to I'd suggest you do some defense mission.

Hellfire (fire damage for rifle) is notorious for appearing often as a reward for completing 5 wave of endless defense.

It is? So far I've never gotten it from a defense mission. Of course, I suppose I've only done about 7 defense missions total...

(3 5wave missions, 4 10 wave, in case you were wondering)

Some folks did a very, very, very long marathon of 80 waves.

Needless to say they were less than pleased by the amount of time Hellfire popped up in the reward.

Anyhow, if my goal was to get that specific mod, that's what I would do. Thought it's hardly relevant now, since there's no mod I'm looking for right now, maybe I miss 10 or 20, but I don't care much for these if I do.

Maybe Chaos spam had something to do with it?

What do you mean?

Abilities doesn't affect rewards.

And yes, they most probably used un-nerfed glorious Chaos, back when it was so stupidly strong.

I just recently got a Flow mod.

I'm quite pleased; I find myself using Crush quite often (running around with a Mag frame currently), and it would really help if I could stockpile, say, 200 energy so I could pull off 2 Crushes.

You'll like Streamline and the Energy Siphon artifact then.

A fully built frame with Flow and Streamline can use a lot of ults. I enjoy that set up on my Banshee, along with Reach, for ridiculous damage at ridiculous range on Sound Quake.

There's an alert right now for an orokin reactor, you have about 14 minutes left as of this post. Admitting you are lucky enough to be able to play.

I almost feel like enhancing my brand new Trinity.

Aw that sucks. You should try filling a support ticket if you really completed the alert. Missing a potato is a pretty big deal IMO. I dunno if it'll work, but hey, maybe.

In other news, trying to take down Jackal for the Avalon helmet alert was a bitch, my new Trinity barely had any defenses at all and I had no damage. Felt bad man.
